But lines here are usual for peak hours.

One reason I kept going back to World Chicken is the price. For a grilled tender boneless chicken and two side dishes, it keeps me full for hours and is light on the wallet.My usual order is the chicken with mushroom sauce, pesto pasta and mashed potatoes, but this time, I tried the chicken with the cheese mornay sauce. The pesto is creamy and flavorful and are cooked on the spot. The mashed potato is fine and the gravy added flavor to it. The cheese sauce is something different because it is not a usual sauce to a grilled chicken, but it is good. Although I still prefer the mushroom sauce.Since I ate with friends, I was able to try what they had as well. I find the Asian Noodles are a good replacement should I get tire of the pesto someday. It has a very rich Asian flavor. They also try to add something beyond their usual menu. They now have chicken inasal and pork sisig, which I find interesting.At 1pm, they still have a full house and the lines are still long. The interiors especially the tables and chairs are getting really old, so I wish they could get an upgrade to have a newer feel.

World chicken in greenbelt 1 needs a renovation asap! Furniture is old and really outdated.World chicken offers thin sliced grilled chicken breast topped with your choice of sauce. I ordered the safest one which is the farm fresh mushroom sauce. Depending on your dish option you can opt for one or two side dishes. They also offer a number of sides, I chose Asian noodles and buttered vegetables.For the price I paid, it was quite filling. The sides were surprisingly good. Vegetables were streamed and buttered just right. He veggies were crisp and not soggy. Asian noodles was an unassuming star. Delicious and with good Asian flavor (aka sesame oil?)The chicken was a let down as it was too thin, no longer juicy and was a bit bland.Service was quite quick took me about 5-8 Mins to get service at lunch break.Will come back to try their other sides and their BBQ grilled chicken.
