    DOES NOT TASTE VEGAN AT ALL!!!When I first ate in this restaurant, I didn't think it was Vegan. Honestly the fake meat tasted like real meat and trust me you won't be able to tell the difference. It's one of my favorite go-to restaurants here in makati because of its affordability (Their pho is around 140 pesos only!!!) and their great and unique taste.The staff are friendly as well. The only reason why I didn't rate them 5 stars is because sometimes the place is dirty although bearable because the food is so delicious! Always recommend this to my friends who are visiting ☺️

    You can't help but fall in love with the simplicity and the humble interior of this restaurant. It's small and quite hidden, a perfect getaway with your friends or maybe even your relatives whenever you're into some warm, cosy meals at very reasonable prices. Despite the odd but extremely popular reputation of vegan food being soulless and bland, Wabi Sabi, like many other vegan/vegetarian restaurant nowadays, is anything but.We arrived at Wabi Sabi at about 8:20pm after a long walk. We weren't familiar with the place so we had to ask around.NOTE: Upon asking for directions, just mention The Collective and when you get there, just ask some of the waitresses to get to Wabi Sabi. You'll pass by the comfort rooms and then at the very straight end, you'll find Wabi Sabi beside Juicesabel (Another vegan/vegetarian restaurant that I ought to try next time) on the right side.I ordered the Banh Mi and Mushroom Shumai while my cousin, who wasn't a vegan, ordered the ShoYu Ramen and Okonomigyoza. We both had the Lemongrass Iced Tea as our refreshment. She loved the ramen and the potstickers and would definitely go back and eat there again when given the opportunity. I too loved the Banh Mi and Mushroom Shumai. I thought they were very tasty. I actually wouldn't believe that the Banh Mi was vegan if I hadn't read the reviews on the restaurant. My only problem was the iced tea. I wasn't a big fan of it. It was really refreshing but I just found it a little bit too sweet for my taste so I had to constantly dilute it with water. I also like more vegetables on my Banh Mi and a smokier and savory taste to the veggiemeat. It was a little on the sweeter side but it was alright. It's good as is.Despite our late arrival, the staff were really accommodating. Before officially closing the restaurant, they asked all of the costumers, one by one, if they had anything else to order. I thought that was really nice of them. There was a time when they actually forgot about the potstickers. They quickly made the meal after realizing and were profoundly sorry. It was a small mistake that really didn't bother us much. All was well.We also didn't order anything else by that point. We were full and very much satiated.You definitely get what you paid for and more. I definitely would recommend everyone to go ahead and try this place out. It wont disappoint.

    I wasn't really feeling this place at first because as a matter of principle I don't like veggie meat and am wary of vegetarian restaurants but this was surprisingly filling and unexpectedly good for a veggie resto. We had the okonomigyoza, corn and cream cheese tempura and tantanmen. I wish they have a 4 pc serving of this for sharing! Or a big one kasi nabitin ako 😅 Corn and cream cheese tempura was confusing. Was it the batter that was made of cream cheese? Because you can't tell where it went. It's a basic corn fritter. Ok naman but I wish they serve it instead with tangy mayo than salt and calamansi. The tantanmen doesn't look like a traditional/typical tantanmen, more like ramen, but I was surprised by how hearty their broth was, just like tonkotsu broth. I wonder if it's soy milk based?So this is pretty good stuff for a veggie restaurant. Probably not good if you're trying to lower estrogen levels/increase testosterone with all the soy based stuff but once in a while is OK.

    We go there for lunch. The noodles is very good. The most impressive thing is the bread with meat. I don't know how to call it. And the decorations is very warm. I like the opening kitchen just make me feel very tidy.

    Do you fear trying an ALL vegetarian dish? Never fear, Wabi-Sabi is here. I made it sound like superhero-ish since it really is. I was so surprised with how the vegetarian dishes tasted. They, well, tasted like non-veg dishes. We ordered ramen, veg cracklings, haru maki, and siomai. I noticed that most of their dishes are made of or has soy in it. The ramen was tasty but not salty unlike the regular, meat based ramen. The haru maki was really good. It's fried rolled beancurd skin with seaweed inside. Oh! We finished our meal by drinking the most refreshing drink ever, lemon grass tea.
