I went for the Traditional banh mi, fresh spring roll and iced coffee here. The sub has great meat flavor that's married well with the vegetables. Meals are also generous of herbs although it comes off a bit more bland than the authentic one. Also had the impression that the iced coffee wasn't made with Viet coffee beans, or I couldn't taste it because it's so watered down.Affordable prices, friendly staff, only slightly authentic.

One of my favorite cuisine next to Korean is Vietnamese due to their use of fresh veggie ingredients (but my soon-to-be wife hates it). This littie hole-in-the-wall restaurant is secluded inside the inner streets of Makati luring foodies with their authentic Vietnamese favorites. I've only learnt of this place since its near our condo and will definitely be coming back for more.Although I was a little disappointed with their Roast BBQ Pork Bahn Mi since the meat was mostly fat. The Fresh Spring Roll was one of the best I've had made with plump shrimp and vermicelli noodles...don't scrimp on adding the homemade peanut sauce 😘Sirloin Beef Pho P195.00 🍜Roast BBQ Pork Bahn Mi P119.00 🍞Fresh Spring Roll P35.00/piece 🍤

place in san antonio barangay near ( not san antonio village). place is decent but small few tables  with 2 tables open air. lightning bit dark. interiors got picture frame of vietnam foods.  pho bo tai soup base is authentic aroma and using real vietnamese noodles. price though higher ends for location and noodle snack. staff forgot to bring out fresh lime & vegetable accompanied with all pho noodle soups & lacks bean sprout.  place is empty when we arrive on a working weekday lunch dec 27. staff very shy hidden behind kitchen counter.   complimentary cold vietnamese tea is awesome lotus tea reminds me fond vietnam memories but its no refills allowed. pho bo vien is unavailable is disappointement.  pho ga was normal chunky chicken cubes instead slices.  fried chicken with rice is overcooked dry too oily too stiff not worth penny.  fresh spring roll was supposed to be with shrimp but staff informed out of shrimp was a disappointment so replced with pork . suggest if shrimp raw material too expensive for 35 pesos spring roll maybe can do 2 types price , one price pork 35 pesos & 70 pesos for shrim spring roll.  bahn sandwiches awesome bread is very authentic cruncky and tasty , though pork filling over fried oily blacked dark pork  filling.  we got high hopes guess we got disappointed since we travelled from BGC The Fort.

A restaurant situated within a house which definitely brings in that homey vibe. They provide beloved Vietnamese dishes around the area so don't be afraid if you're not familiar with their cuisine. This is a good place to start if you wanna try such cuisine and you'd probably be looking for more after. The interiors are simple and they have a variety of food items ranging from affordable to expensive. From the outside, you may feel hesitant to just go right in but just let that be since you're very much invited to dine. For more pictures and reviews, please visit us at : bearslookingforfood.blogspot.com

Food: I am new with Vietnamese cuisine and it was such a delight that Vina Trang introduced me to a dish called "bún thit nuóng". I am not a fan of noodles with soups so I was hesitant to order until a staff recommend this dish.First impression? "Healthy". The dish was very pretty upon serving. Colorful and appetizing. The vermicelli noodle was al dente and springy, pork was tasty (a bit salty on my second visit) but the taste was toned down with fresh vegetables--pickled radish, lettuce, cucumbers and fried spring rolls (best with hoisin sauce). Good thing the sauce (sweet, sour, spicy in one) was separate with the noodles so I can control the taste.Three present Vietnamese condiments: hoisin, chili and another "hot chili" sauce--will try that soon. Also ask for the complimentary house tea--refreshing. If you don't like it, they have other choices such as lemon, carrot, tomato, iced coffee etc.Forget the banhmi. The nearby one is the best. Price: Price is ok but a bit high for a home ambiance. Well, I am after the food here anyway. Service: Not that friendly and mostly they are just inside the kitchen. Location: Vina Trang is situated along the Sampaloc Street wherein it is near another two Vietnamese restaurants. It gives this "you're just eating at home" feeling which is good because you can come here casually and eat here as your real self. The only thing that bugs me off is the light is too dim. Will I come back again? Yes. I am starting to love Vietnamese cuisine. Hmm...

Their Traditional Banh mi is very good! It's crunchy on top and soft inside, with that delicious taste of cilantro. Lemon Juice is huge and refreshing. Their staff is friendly and I'm happy with their business hours in case I crave something healthy and heavy.

I love Vietnamese food and almost all the good restos are here in Makati. So I aim to try all of them. Vina Trang is one resto that cannot be easily spotted. It is located within the streets of San Antonio. It is usually almost empty and the ambience looks like your average canteen. When you go there early, only a number of food on their menu is available. I guess it's not well visited so they kinda have to save expenses? Now let's get to the food -One thing you shouldn't miss in Vietnamese restaurants are their spring rolls. I rate their spring rollls (3.5/5) (Ba Nois being the best!). It's still tasty but one order is enough. We wanted to try their best seller but the only available Phò is their Phò bò vién (meat balls) and I must say that it is very good (5/5)! It may not be their best seller but this Phò knocks! The meat ball looks like a sliced carton (seriously) but it is so tasty. It matches well with the soup and other spices. Of course, you should not forget to order the famous Vietnamese coffee (4.5/5). It will not be served to you in a traditional way but it tastes just as good! Their iced tea (4.5/5) does not disappoint as well. Will come back to try other Pho!

Ate here about five times already, all at the San Antonio, Makati branch. They recently transferred their San Antonio branch to the rooftop of a new hotel, just in front of the old location. I personally prefer the old location, it was an old house's living room and garage converted to a resto, it was much more accessible and had more character. The pho is decent for the price. Sometimes if you're unlucky and you order the beef pho, you get all tendon (litid) and very little beef. The pho soup is a bit too salty (approaching ramen territory). The fresh spring roll is good though. Also, their prices have increased by P10 across all menu items since they transferred.
