UCC is one the best coffee places to go to for both dining and coffee. excellent for meetings as different people in the meeting might have different requirements like a real meal or maybe a sandwich with their coffee. also the setup is more ample for meetings rather than a starbucks-style setup.

Writing this review because I just recently tried their Rice Casseroles and they were gooooood! Didn’t give a perfect score because they’re not that cheap as are most of the items in UCC.I am a huge fan of Unagi especially the Yoshinoya Rice Bowls in Japan (they don’t have it in Manila) so this rice casserole was heaven in my mouth! The unagi serving was surprisingly “big”, just the right amount to finish the curried rice pilaf which was baked with white sauce and mozzarella cheese - yummy sounding right? Well, it was! Will definitely go back for this.My other favorites in UCC are the Seafood Salad and the Beef Yakiniku Rice Topping.Promo alert: Bookyapp offers Buy 1 Get 1 on UCC drinks and desserts depending on the location. For this branch it was the Ice Brendo. Pay only ₱190 for 2 which can be different flavors. We had the White Chocolate Mocha and Almond Roca but there are many other flavors to choose from like espresso, caramel, vanilla etc.

Yesterday, I had my own solo food tripping, as I needed more content to fill up my Instagram account. You might have noticed my fascination with anything Ube, and so I visited UCC to take a shot of their Okinawa Sweet Purple Potato Latte. I loved the drink! It had an amazing balance of Japanese tea and notes of Ube in it. I appreciated that it wasn’t sweet, just the right amount of sugar. UCC also has other Ube items here for you to check out, just in case you are looking for it too. They have three cakes with Ube in them! Yum.

Last night's fun with friends did not stop with dinner. We looked for a place for dessert and found our way from Power Plant to One Rockwell and ended up here at UCC. There was a cake set on offer which included a vanilla mille crêpe, a chocolate one and two other cakes. In addition, we ordered the special halo-halo cake. For drinks, some had tea while others (me included) opted for water. The cake set was good. I tried both mille crêpes and they were ok. They were light, with mild flavours and not too sweet. In contrast, the halo-halo cake was decadent! It was rich, filled with your usual halo-halo ingredients and served with ice cream for that final touch. The cake itself was moist and not too dense and the filling sweet and added a layer of texture. The ice cream was a good complement to the ube (yum) flavour. It was a beauty of a dessert, tempting and sinfully gratifying.
