The baking area takes the left side of the room while the breads that were on sale are put on display on the right area.As of this writing I’d been to the place twice. The second time I saw a queue of people waiting outside the store, which reminded me of that one time my friend and I waited at French Baker to avail of their half-price promo. I soon learned that TLJ indeed has a promo, it’s buy one take one on all of their breads, which starts at 8:30 p.m.Custard cream pastry (Php 38) is the best. It is soft and the custard filling is light and creamy.Fresh cream bread (Php 48) has thin flakes of almonds on top. I consumed it the day after I bought it, I’m not sure but I think it somehow reduced the quality of the bread.I love red beans so the sweet red bean donut (Php 38) won my approval. It is covered with cinnamon and sugar. My least favorite, lets twist (cinammon sugar) (Php 18). I just found the cinnamon a little bit too strong for my taste.

Aaaah french macarons! One of the desserts that i could eat all day. Thanks to TLJ for making it very accessible since they are everywhere in Makati. These french macarons are not expensive compares to the ones in restaurants, 280 pesos is not bad at all tho at one poinr i feel that I did not taste all the flavors. You can buy them buy 1 take 1, after 8:30PM.
