Toby’s is the café for long conversations and a good place to catch up with friends. Besides their strong coffees, their pastas too are worth a try. Ordered Mushroom and Chorizo which were both good plus flat white on the side.

Review as of July 2018Toby's Legazpi is a gem when it opened a few years back. I'm not a coffee drinker but my sister is so we love how their coffee and non-coffee drinks are both quite nice. The ambiance is just perfect to wind down after a busy workday and has become our Friday habit (so long as we aren't busy)Items on the menu I've tried, recommendations are marked with a star (🌟):- Flat White 🌟- Chai Chocolate 🌟- Mango, Strawberry & Toasted Almond Belgian Waffle 🌟- Bagel- Cookies & Cream Buckies- Mushroom and Steak PieMy own musings: I always find that it's a bit tricky to do reviews for cafés, I never get to try their meals so my photos can be quite monotonous just taking photos of the drinks

I consistently go back here because their coffee is so damn good! I usually order the Gibraltar (off the menu - double shot espresso with milk, perfect if you need a quick pick me up), flat white, and mocha (I don’t usually like chocolate in my coffee but this is an exception). They serve quality food too that they make fresh unlike other coffee shops where they usually just microwave it. Lastly, the staff here are really friendly and attentive which makes the place feel all the more cozy and inviting.

I like hanging out here because it's quiet and clean. I also like its interiors, save for the open kitchen. Toby's serves verrry strong coffee (I'm an occasional coffee drinker); there's also a variety of pastries and full meals (tho somewhat pricey). Note: there's a service charge.

I love love love Toby’s Traviata. Perfect breakfast combo with macchiato and a slice of banana bread! I’ll be back and order these again. Toby’s Legazpi Branch has a cozy atmosphere

The finest coffee I had in the world. The machinery, the beans, the milk, every thing was selected thoroughly and when all ingredients mixed perfectly by a well guided barista the results are perfect

I got irate today with Toby’s Estate as they were charging additional Php 50 for an egg in their Avocado Toast. The advertised photo clearly had it for Php 295. False advertising! Anyway, the Mocha I had was not its usual self too. It lacked sweetness as compared to my previous visits in their other branches. The Avocado Toast had raw onions that didn’t sit too well with me. Other than that it was an excellent order to have. That’s part of their limited edition menu offering.

As someone who loves Specialty Coffee, I can say that Toby's Estate is one of those who was booming when the Specialty Coffee became a trend here in the Philippines especially in Metro Manila. And the Toby's Estate here in Legaspi Village is one of my favorites 'coz of the cozy space and I can somewhat have a workplace 'coz there's a spot for people who goes solo like me.My favorites are their Long Black and Banana Bread slice. Their beans goes well with my favorite pastry of theirs. The Long Black is strong but at the same time you can have a taste of nutty and an after taste of a Rooibos Tea. Not to mention, I like the Banana Bread Slice because you can really taste the Banana and its soft but not crumby at all. And it comes with Walnuts too.I also appreciate the staff who are so helpful and never fails to put on a smile on their faces.

I cannot believe I’m giving Toby’s 2 star 😕 This is the first time I ever did in any coffee shops I’ve been before. And as you know, I’m a big fan of their Flat White which is my usual cup here. And as always, their Flat White has that tangy bitterness after sip which I look for in my coffee. So if I love their coffee, what’s the 2 stars for? Well, unfortunately it’s their new breakfast menu which is the Egg’s Benedict. It’s a disappointment 😭 Priced at 395 and you’d rather have something else somewhere. I’m no egg’s ben expert but their is just too salty to begin with. Like, the egg was poached on a hot water with salty, top it off with cheese which as we know is salty already then add some more pinch of salt and cayenne. It was too much 😭😭 The only thing that worked is the ham and biscuit underneath the egg’s ben. The ham is a little smoky and of good proportion to the biscuit. Service was also pretty slow. Not recommending their Egg’s Ben unless they tweak their recipe. I’ve tried better ones for its price! Really.
