This is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE. I have a routine of coming here every Saturday after I wake up to have my usual Kaya Toast Set with Kopi. But I also love their other dishes such as Nasi Goreng and Char Kway Teow. That’s why I am really surprised that their users’ rating in website is not as high as I would expect. The place is always swarmed by so many people it’s sometimes hard to get a seat on a Saturday. Maybe they are not website users, hahaha, otherwise the rating would be much higher.Toast Box has a very loyal clientele (that includes me).

Their Hainanese chicken was superb but I'm giving them a 3 because they served the soup immediately without giving me some utensils. The spoon and fork came when they have completed the order and that's roughly 20 minutes so I ended up with a cold bowl 😥 Also, they offered Laksa even if the ingredients like prawns are missing. They also have a list of teas but most are not available. I'll still come back but maybe I'll try their other branches, hoping that the service will be better than their Greenbelt 5 branch.

We were walking around Greenbelt looking for a place to sit down and have a snack and ended up here since the name was familiar. The place is decently sized with plenty of tables which are quite close together. We managed to get a pram to the far table. Came by for an afternoon snack so only had the kaya toast with boiled egg and drink set. Quite a nice and cheap snack to recharge us for more shopping.

I love their Nasi Goreng, Hainanese chicken, and Milo Dinosaur. Big servings - will definitely get you full and fuelled up. Comfort food as well. 👍🏼

Surprisingly, the kaya toast was a revelation to me. It was seriously good for my taste and though the way of eating it was odd, I wouldn’t mind eating again to learn its origin in the Singaporean culture.#Shallireturn to Toast Box?

Toast box has simple yet relaxing interior. They serve juicy Hainanese chicken perfectly paired with their sauces. I prefered the standard ginger sauce in oil.

Quite a good cafe in Greenbelt serving Singaporean food.We had Cucumber Shake and Nonya Coffee as our beverages. The shake is refreshing.Kaya Toast is a must try. Thick toast of Ham & Egg was tasty as well. We followed this up with Hainanese Chicken and Noodles - just ok. Best dish of the evening was the tasty Char Kuey Teow.

Yay! It’s Friday once again and we decided to have our end of the week dinner at Greenbelt 5’s Toast Box. Toast box is a coffee shop which serves Singaporean meals and is under the same company as BreadTalk. Being a coffee shop, we know that it’s a must for us to try their Toast Box Sets (Php 150.00). We decided to go for their Traditional Kaya Toast Set (Php 150.00). Kaya is the Malay term for coconut jam. I love how the coconut jam blends perfectly with the butter. It’s sweet and tastes light at the same time. It also came with 2 soft boiled eggs. Honestly, we’re not sure how we should consume the soft boiled eggs so we decided to use it as some sort of a dip for the bread. For our set’s partner coffee, we decided to go for Kopi. Unlike normal coffees which is blended with sugar and cream, Kopi uses condensed milk as its sweetener.

The very mention of ‘toast’ often brings to mind images of golden brown bread served with jam, eggs and bacon, and perhaps with a cup of coffee on the side. It is just as well that there is a restaurant chain in Metro Manila that is bringing a new face to this take on sliced bread. Welcome to none other than Toast Box.
