There is a hole in the wall in Makati Avenue that serves the best Angus Steak in town. Moreover it does not cost an arm and a leg to enjoy them...

Poblacion at Makati City has always been known for food mainstays that give you a bang for the buck and True Grill along Valdez Street not only accomplishes that but offers a little bit more. Imagine being able to sink your teeth on the highest grade steaks at half the normal cost in top restaurants and hotels? That's exactly what you'll get when you swing by here. The people behind True Grill heartily refers to their restaurant as the Meat Lovers' Cafe. They shun from being called a steakhouse because they say it may sway potential customers who would associate it with something expensive or luxurious. Their understated interiors and plating presentations clearly reflect this simple personality but along with it, a homely atmosphere can be expected thanks to their extra attentive staff and owners who personally oversee operations. For our food gathering, we were served two of their bestsellers which they are very proud of.Almost always rated at Grade 5 (the highest in the Australian rating system), their Great Southern Pinnacle Ribeye Steak is a force to be reckoned with. The taste is very straightforward, the butter gives way to the tastiness and juiciness of the meat. I ordered a Medium, which is tricky to accomplish but they did so with flying colors - truly a feast for the eyes and the tongue. True Grill also prides itself with the homemade sauces they serve with their steaks. I'd say that their Mustard sauce is great and complements the steak well and their Gravy just right to avoid overpowering the flavor of the meat. The sides served were French fries and salad but customers can choose rice or mashed potato instead. For our second meal, we were served the Melbourne Burger which packs 150 grams of pure Angus beef goodness. The toppings include lettuce, button mushrooms, bacon and tomatoes and they go together well with the preimum patties. For future servings, we suggested that they also offer bun choices.True Grill also serves other Chef-inspired variants of classic steak dishes like Angus Roast Beef, Cheesesteak, Tenderloin and Club Sandwiches. For busy passersbys or those would like to share the premium Aussie steaks of True Grill to their loved ones and friends, the restaurant also moonlights as a meat shop, ready to bring meaty joy to every home.

TrueGrill, as per the owner, the flame, the fire symbolizes their love for food and how to make them. Meat lovers café came from their 5-year old grandson who knows a thing or two when it comes to business. Located in the busy street of Poblacion, Makati, this hidden gem offers premium steak which will not break your bank. For only 645php, you can have their Premium Australian steak cook the way you want. Choose the doneness and they’ll cook it pan seared in butter. When I sliced my Pinnacle Rib-eye steak, it was tender and juicy considering I had mine well-done. The crisp corner of the meat were nicely done making it more satisfying to eat. Dip it with their homemade wholegrain mustard sauce and you’ll get that closed-eye goodness reaction. It also comes with their homemade gravy. It has been said that Australian Beef are much tender than any other meat. I definitely agree. They also have steaks available for take-home with instructions on how to make them. They sell crate which consists of their homemade bottle of gravy and mustard sauce, 5 pieces of steaks and bottle of Eaglehawk Cabernet Sauvignon wine for 3565php. If you’re not a wine person, you can opt for a red and black box instead for 2935php. This is such a great idea for presents during holidays. The side salad complimented the flavor and just burst in your mouth goodness. 5 stars for the steak, We also get to try their Bacon and Cheese Burger. This is one of the best burgers I’ve tried. No extenders, no preservatives, just pure Angus Beef. The bun could have been toasted more to make it much pleasant to eat though.  4.5 stars for the burger.Staff were attentive and friendly too. They made sure we got everything we need. This restaurant should be added to your list of great steak in Makati. Will go definitely go back soon.

Started as a meat store, The True Grill offers their top-quality merchandise which is their Pinnacle Rib-eye steak cooked to perfection. The beef came from Australia, which are free-range, grass fed so you can be sure that the quality is top-notch. They are brought here by air and kept in a regulated temperature to make sure that the meat don't spoil. I ordered a medium rare just because I want the juice still present and I would say that they were on point with that one. The consistency of the beef was nice and it was tender. While the side dish is on par with other steakhouses out there, the "star of the show" would be their meat and I must say for that price point, you get to enjoy good quality steak which would satisfy your meat cravings. Still can't get enough? You can purchase their meat as well since as I said in the beginning that they are a meat store. Don't worry, their packaging is awesome since they wrote an instruction on how to to cook their steak depending on your preferred "doneness" so you get to enjoy their meat in your home.Chizbun Manang Bidang China PigOutSundays Cs See

Got invited to try quality steak and I didn't hesitate to decline no matter what. Originally a distributor named Melbourne prime the restaurant is located beside A.venue on the side of Beni's falafel. You need to cross to find a quaint homey place that's a bit glory at first but feels homey when you get used to it. They pride themselves by selling and serving the pinnacle of prime steak of melbourne australia. Grass fed free range cows for flavor and aged for tenderness with no extenders, no preservatives, no antibiotics and no growth hormones. They served us with their Great Souther Pinnacle Rib Eye Steak (200g P645 w/side salad, fries, gravy and mustard sauce on the side), Angus Beef Burger(P345), ans the Melbourne Burger(P350), and mMagnolia Salted Caramel Ice Cream as a palate cleanser. They also offer some traditional filipino cuisines as well. The steak had a little flag pierced on it with the label of aussie beef as given by rhe australian embassy. my first encounter with this flag is with Pink's hotdog. The steak and fries combination was magnificent. The fries were goldenly friend to perfection. The owner was right about their steak being the pinnacle australian beef.Although the steak was pan fried not grilled to crisp like I expected, it's a shame that it's not cooked the best way possible. I suggested that as a cooking method but it seems that the owner encourages me to tey it on my own. For something that you want your customers to buy I think that you have to cook your steak the best way you can to entice your customers to find out how you did it and not the other way around. The ribeye meat was splendidly cooked medium rare in its glorious pinkness, tasty and packed with umami. The australian beef patty was a delight to eat although it couldve been better with a brioche bun. The crisp potato was a perfect pairing to the awesome australian beef burger patty. For tge ice cream was a perfrct ender to the whole australia beef experience. Would've bought already to take home but i had to go to work.Favorites: Australian ribeye beefFood 4.5/5 - top steak place i would buy but ill try to cook on my ownPrice 4/5 - price was i found the serving size of sides not equal to the price you pay.Service 4/5- service was okay.Ambiance 3/5 - for a homey place it wasnt well lit i hope they renovate and redesign for their millenial customers.
