This review is for our Holy Thursday visit. We couldn’t count how many times we visited the lobby as we always enjoyed the food. The service had always been good and the food great so we kept coming back. Our Holy Thursday visit however was different. The servers are not minding us even as I repeatedly tried to call their attention by visiting their counter. It took a while before a newly arrived senior member of their staff took our orders. One server also mistakenly placed another table’s order of pancit in our table, turned his back and took back the food (I managed to get a tiny bit of shrimp as I thought the food was ours), he then served the food to the right table even though I’ve already touched the food. I complained to the manager and she found out who the server is and made him apologize to me. The other table though, were unaware had food that I previously touched. Oh well... not my problem.I will come back on a non-holiday. Their pancit is still delicious.

The lobby of the Peninsula Makati has a really amazing ambiance. As soon as you enter you feel like being in another world, because everything is absolutely luxury. Of course the prices are luxury too. A burger costs about 1000 Pesos and for this price the used ground meat was not good enough. Furthermore the fries could have been a bit more but the mayonnaise was really yummy! In another setting I would not come back for the food at such a high price but the feeling there is so wonderful that I like it.

Halo-Halo.BIG serving. Meant to be shared. Really good, probably the best halo-halo in Manila? Surely better than that of MilkyWay Cafe, but crazy expensive; like 3x more expensive than an above average one you can get in a decent stand-alone restaurant. Well to be fair, it is from a 5-star hotel, so you're also paying for the ambience.

Giving the lobby at The Peninsula Manila 5/5 stars. We ordered The Turkey Club Sandwich and Steak with Poached Eggs. Both dishes were delish! Big portions kaya sulit. Price is reasonable naman kasi you're paying for the quality service as well aside sa food.

One of the best Croque Madame in town. The tea set is ok, nothing spectacular. Great Tea selection from TWG, but the patries and sandwiches-- tastes stale and bland except for the scones. Overall, it's still ok given the price of the set.

The classic Lobby at the Manila Pen serves good food and drinks (their hot choco is a must!) however, for the price point, I don’t think it gave the place THAT must justice. Overall, the ambience and service of the place great. Sharing a photo of my Christmas Chocolate with Nougat and a lovely Norwegian Salmon.

Highly recommend! We got the salmon and the sinigang (a bit pricey, but acceptable since we're in a hotel). They both tasted great, and the ambiance was 5 🌟

We celebrated my auntie’s birthday salubong here at 12:00 midnight. We have ordered the Arroz Caldo. It was too salty. While they served their Luglog despite the nice presentation, it is too bland. We only liked the Club Sandwich but it’s typical food. If it isn’t good, what else is? Other than this, we’re wondering what happened to their good food. They are becoming mediocre.

Price: 3Food: 3Service: 4Ambience: 4Well, of course, hotel food is expensive. Would have graded is 3.5 if only the fish wasn't too dry. Salads were quite bland also.

The first time I visited this place I knew I’d come back. Friendly staff and very accommodating. I highly suggest to visit The Lobby during Christmas Season - surprise!
