A lot of the menu items are out of stock. There was just one very stressed and very tired waiter during the Friday night we went there. I do think the mango shaved ice is great and refreshing. The Nippon Warabi is basically just gelatin but also refreshing.

rockwell lovies! if you’re wanting a diff take on your milk tea, as in sipping on a smoothie shake milk tea, look no further kasi we got the dessert kitchen at the 3rd floor of the powerplant mall.what i adored was their boba milk tea smoothie shake. im a dessert person and i dont mind eating em for whatever mealcourse. now, incorporate my fad fave w/c is the boba and im sold. it’s as if i was chugging down on a sweet milky vanila smoothie and oit of nowhere, im sippin’ on some sweet boba. though the boba was a bit on the soft chew side w/c im not so inclined to, the milkshake weighted more on the holistic aspect. as for the rest, their hong kong imported teas really comes out of the flavor of their drinks. me not so much likin’ that bit, but for ‘em tea loving people, this place is best for you.

After a savory lunch we definitely need something to satisfy our sweet tooth!Charcoal whatsoever dessert always entice me, so the moment I saw that charcoal thing cream cheese on milk tea, I knew. This is it! Lol. I had mine on 50% sugar level and I like it, not too sweet. The cheese milk cap complement it well. Definitely made the right choice.Oolong Charcoal Sea Salt Cheese Milk Cap Milk Tea(reg) - Php128*add on: Nata Jelly - Php15Boba Milk Tea Smoothie Shake(reg) - Php108Peach Fruit Tea(reg) - Php88📍 Location: 3rd floor, Powerplant Mall, Rockwell, Makati City

Milk Tea invasion is real guys! When you see even the major fast food chains getting on the bandwagon then you’ll know everyone has been eaten by the system. It’s not that I’m complaining, I have loved milk tea since it was introduced to me back in 2008 when me and my friends dined at Tokyo Bubble House. I’ve came to know and taste a lot of milk teas over the years since then.

Just looked at my watch and I can imagine Friday traffic is still bad out there. So I decided to head into The Dessert Kitchen to kill more time before hitting the road. The Dessert Kitchen menu has a fairly vast selection of menu items but I ordered the recommended “PURPLE IN LOVE.” The Dessert Kitchen's bestselling dessert. It’s also their award-winning 'Purple in Love,' made with Kyoho grape seaweed balls, grape shaved ice, mini rice balls, grapes, and taro mochi ice cream that’s packed with everything except the kitchen sink. I actually really liked it but it was too sweet when I hit the bottom of the bowl and so I had to stop. It was a bit decadent but at least I didn’t feel guilty at the end of my dessert. Try it The Dessert Kitchen if you get the chance.  I know that I'll be going back for the strawberry ice cream.

I decided to try out this dessert place with my sister since I was curious about their raindrop cake. Initially I wanted to try the Sakura Warabi but unfortunately they were out of stock so I ordered the Nippon Warabi instead. To be honest I didn't have high expectations since I had heard that it was bland. To my surprise I actually really loved the Nippon Warabi. Yes it's simply gelatin and yes if you eat the raindrop alone without any of the flavorings its pretty tasteless. However, if you eat it together with the red beans, the syrup and the soy powder it's really good. Everything works beautifully together and it's a very light refreshing dessert. I was not a huge fan of the matcha balls but otherwise I loved it.My sister ordered the Shaved Ice Mango and she absolutely loved it. It was tasty, smooth, and had a very strong mango flavor. Expect it to be tart and very strong. We both loved the texture and flavor of it.Overall we enjoyed the experience imensely and plan to return there to try the other desserts. And for those interested, yes the interior decor and design is very instagram friendly. One small thing I was unhappy about... I really really didn't like their lemon flavored water. It was the base water they serve but I'm going to make sure to ask for plain water next time.

This place is so adorable! 😍 It's quaint and just so cozy. I went here with my barkada. Everything is pretty good but my favorite would have to be the serradura. It's just so soft and so heavenly on the palate. 💕

Place is a bit small but clean and comfortable maybe because we were there early.True to its name they are all about desserts.Ordered the following:Dancing Queen 5/5: if you like matcha this is for you. The match a ice cream and jelly are really good bittersweet matcha flavors. It is balanced by the sweet red beans and vanilla pudding. Great balance. Good size for 1,Mango shave ice- 4/5. Good flavor; natural ingredients; good serving size can be shared.

Dessert kitchen is like a premium version of those cheap dessert places one would frequent in hongkong, but the difference is, aside from the prices being high, it’s not as good as what you get in hong kong. I remember ordering their citrus soda, but I don’t remember getting something tht looks like the picture in the menu. What I got was something that looked like orange juice with soda then one slice of orange on top. Of course, we were puzzled! And it was pretty expensive too. To put it in a positive note, I guess the mango pomelo sago we had was okay, but it really doesn’t do hongkog dessert justice. Even upon entering the restaurant, there wasnt anyone to welcome us, I don’t know if they lack staff or something.

Ohhh probably one of my favorite dessert places!  I really LOVE Asian desserts.  I don't think I could live in a country that does not have a good selection of Asian desserts! This place is always clean, and the service is always great for me.  On top of that, the desserts are amazing.  Check out my photos!  Warm or cold desserts, take your pic.  I recommend them all!!!
