Their Nono's chocolate oblivion cake was very delicious because it was so moist and yet light. The Chicago cheesecake however, was too sweet for my liking, so I would rate a 5.0 for the chocolate cake and 3.0 for the cheesecake

My favorite CBTL branch starting today.CBTL always offers and never fails to offer great coffee/tea, great food and great service. My second home away from home -- comfortable seats, fast wi-fi connection, a peaceful place where you can work.

I swear whereever I go, I always end up in this place. I guess it has been my go-to and I'm gonna miss it when I head back home to New Zealand. The only disappointment I had was in the MOA branch outlet. It was average. Hence, why it's a 4.5. Not a 5.

Tried the Thai Tea Latte on iced. It was just okay. Found the flavor a bit strong than when you order it hot. Like that this place is very cozy and spacious. A conducive place to do some paperwork or reading. Service was good. Baristas were friendly and accommodating.

The acoustic in this branch was unbearable. You can hear the conversation from the first floor even if you’re at the 2nd floor. I think they'll need to think of a way to lessen the noise vibration in the room.I ordered Cafe Latte hot then ordered a mug full of ice. Didn't order any desserts anymore since we were full and wanted something to drink.

Love the Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake we ordered here. And their coffee wasn’t that bad too. There’s just a lot of people in this branch and you can’t have a conversation as you literally hear people beside you. But again, I came here for the coffee.

Iced Moroccan Mint Tea Latte!I spend a lot of time here. I hold informal business meetings here and meet friends for catch up sessions here as well.I've never been a Starbucks fan or SB fan (despite my Uni time in NYC), but The Bean I love. I really do.The beverage selection is big enough to find something for everyone. And I usually need to order for friends with dietary or religious restrictions.The food is good as well, and the staff goes the extra mile to actually remember their customers name. Which is a very nice touch.Smoking area here is smaller than their Aura or GB branches but still decent.You'll mostly run into law students, business people and residents here so don't get surprised if you end up sitting next to someone in a power suit or "house clothes".It's rarely noisy and if you find yourself without a lighter, the nice cleaning crew will happily lend you a lighter.I gave it only 4 stars since it got extremely bright and hot, since SM Jazz removed the trees, but if you don't smoke and stay inside you'll be surprised by their fast internet and pleasant ambiance.

It's quite amusing that coffee shops such as The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (CBTL) serve variations and modifications of childhood "panaderya" favorites like the ube cheesecake. It is reminiscent of that old-time bakery goodie: the ube bars coated with desiccated coconut. CBTL is successful in introducing and leveling-up that bread to the modern sweet-tooth by transforming it into a very attractive and delicious cheesecake. Interestingly, the cheesecake retains the "panaderya" flavor, giving it a more Pinoy feel.

Been going in this branch a lot since I started living in Jazz. I love the ambiance and the air conditioning is actually working well unlike the Glorietta branch. The staff here is also more accommodating. I suggest you try their new drinks, the Hazelnut Latte and IBD.

This is one of my favorite CBTL branches, more because of the convenience (very near where I live) than anything else. Customer service is so-so--there were instances when they were very warm and hyper, while there were days when the baristas couldn't care less. They also have this slightly annoying habit of offering every item in their menu when they see that customers are still indecisive on what to order. Makes me want to say: chill 😎My usual order? English Breakfast Tea Latte. And I believe the Guiltless Chocolate Cake is my new favorite 😊Tip: It's worth it to buy their swirl card (PHP195), if you're a frequent CBTL customer. You gain 5 points for every PHP100 you spend and points can be used to purchase. But the best benefit is the free wifi 😁Update: recently had breakfast here and tried their Salmon and Cream Cheese bagel. The salad serving was so meager, I could have eaten everything in one forkful. The salmon was also "malansa" that I had to eat sweets afterwards, brush my teeth and gargle with menthol mouthwash to remove the icky taste. My friend also requested for extra jam as what was initially served was insufficient for 4 slices of bread, but we had to pay extra. Really? For a spoonful of jam? A disappointing visit.
