Located at the Food Row at the lower ground floor, in front of the Supermarket of SM Makati. Chinese Kitchen offers noodles and rice bowls at a premium price. My parents like the noodles but I beg to differ. The noodles are firm and generous enough to fill the big bowl but i find the soup was bland, made flavorful if added with the hoisin sauce and chili served on the side. Service was average. Tables are in a disarray during rush afternoon crowds.

Tried their Roasted Pork Asado Rice toppings during my first time but I must say it's really good. Although during my 2nd time in a different branch, it's already not available considering that it's only 1pm. :(I tried then their crispy pork belly, but it didn't satisfy my cravings maybe because i want the pork asado more. Nevertheless, it's a good food. ✔

Ate at the Festival mall branch. Was really disappointed, Chinese never served rice in a shape of a leche flan mould. Got the general tso's chciken (general tsao's failed cousin). Is a far cry from every general's chicken I have tasted from different establishments. The dish was heavy on soy sauce ( I guess that's their take on it), not breaded at all, it was like bite-sized pieces of chicken breast on a sea of sweet soy sauce and a few garlic and peppers. Nothing special at all, and for the price? Certainly not worth every penny.I can't say I hated it, but was just really disappointed. Ambience was good however, and the lady who served me was great, she always smiled while taking the order. My goal was to get the salt and pepper ribs, we'll see how that goes next visit and hope that dish can redeem the store.

Tried the following:Sweet and Sour Pork - Php195The food's okay but it's too expensive. I'd go with David's Teahouse next time if I'm craving for sweet and sour pork though. I liked David's Tea House better plus the price is cheaper.

I recommend trying their Hainanese chicken and pair it with their ginger sauce. The serving is very generous, two small eater could probably share one dish.

This was one of the few stalls that still had seats at lunch time. I got the Crispy Pork Belly Rice which was their bestseller. It looked good when it landed on the table but it was cold already. No wonder they said the food would be ready in 3 minutes. When they returned it to me, it seemed like it shrunk but at least it was hot. I ate the pork as is since it was salty and tasty enough. The sauce was sweet and I have no idea why they gave me chili garlic. I took out a lot of fat though. The soup was ok. The crunchy garlic bits was the best part of this meal.I was full but I wasn't satisfied. No wonder they weren't full during lunch rush.*tea light candles on the tables because there were flies.

Tasty, big, and beyond my expectation that they give mantau also. I tried braised noodle. Overall it's okay. Good for me. Maybe for the next i will try another menu.

Makati is known for being the business district together with BGC in Taguig. So you'll often find people who loves cheap thrills because everyone's making big bucks. Not me! Cheap thrills is life, so is Chinese Kitchen. With less than 200PHP, you'll get a taste of China. The place is situated in the basement of SM Makati's food court. What I love about the food is their rich broth soup that really brings comfort to anyone looking for one. So go ahead and inform your officemates about the new Chinese bombshell -- Chinese Kitchen 👍🏼

The food tastes okay, nothing special (ordered their specialty, crispy pork belly) BUT the soup on the side was delicious!! The serving is a bit generous. I'm probably not going to try it again because it's expensive: their meal is priced at Php185. Had high expectations for this but I just ended up being disappointed. They serve fast and the place is very convenient (it's just at the basement of SM Makati with only limited seats), that's all!
