A Japanese restaurant with reasonable prices. Food is good. Staffs are entertaining and approachable. Waiting time is long but I assure you it's worth it. 😊

Passed by for a quick snack earlier today. I think the store opened earlier as planned to cater us which was nice since we were the first customer. We ordered a few of the menu, Shoyu Ramen, California Maki, Tuna Sushi & Gyoza. They have thick but really soft pork slices which stands out in the ramen. I love their wasabi! I made it a topping in my sushi and maki that I felt my tongue and nose burning up and I teared up a little bit but I ate more.

First time to eat here and Im not so happy. We ordered the group meal with maki tempura gyoza beef and pork and very im so disappointed. The tempura is so bland it seems they don't put any spices, the beef teppanyaki lacks taste and like a rubber. The gyudon and gyoza is not good also, maki is ok but not the best also the free soup is just ok what i like most their rice. The place is very warm ac not working plus its luch time in ayala, service is fast but they need to improve the quality of their food considering they are more expensive compare to other casual japanesse resto. On coming back perhaps to try their unlimited promo to taste other dishes but i have to think about it.

Have always been a fan of this Japanese resto, their dishes are really tasty and have a good amount of serving. The makis, ramen and katsudon for me are the best dishes here. Reasonable prices! 😋

It was raining hard so we craved for some hot broth but the neighboring establishment was packed, so we settled here. We got curious about the King Size Tempura (2 pcs, P480) and ordered it. The waiter said it's almost as long as the chopsticks. And we really did measure it using the chopsticks (see photo). I think the photo doesn't do any justice but it was really huge. For the taste, I'm not sure if I'm really just not a fan of prawn tempuras.. it tasted bland even when drowned with the sauce lol. It was a fine dining experience, still.

Our Operations Manager had been very generous and treat us here so yey free lunch again plus this is an amazing place for maki and tempura so I really had a great time. I really love the Ebi Chizu Tempura and Tori Karaage. But what I love the most was the Firecracker Crisp, fried maki balls which is filled with spicy tuna that taste soooooo good.

So a colleague decided to take us for a farewell lunch and so we landed at tempura; well the tempuras displayed on photos on the glass wall did look interesting. We ordered executive bento and some premium tempura. Premium tempura was a disaster as I could taste the uncooked batter on the prawns; maybe that's how it's done but in that case am definitely not a tempura person. The miso soup was too salty; the only thing probably I liked was maki but then I am genuinely fond of maki. Maybe sushi is a better idea and would return for the sushi, based on which will either write off or let it redeem itself ☺

I've dine here twice. On both occasions, I had the volcano roll, ebi cheese tempura, and chicken teriyaki. The food were just okay, and service was good. The interior of the restaurant is neat. Location is very accessible to office workers along the Ayala buildings. Taste is not really authentic so do not expect too much.

Looking for a reasonably priced Japanese fastfood? Tempura restaurant is a good option. They have a good tempura and sushi. Some of their menu were extremes though - either too sweet or too salty. I do not recommend their gyudon and katsudon but their bacon wrapped asparagus and gyoza were good picks. Generally averaged taste but good enough for its price.

I love their Tempura compare to Teriyaki Boy. It's more flavorful, more rich in taste & much more crispy. I'm just disappointed with their Gyu Don. I didn't like it at all. Their Tempura had been a comfort food as well to me & my partner and will definitely always be back for more.
