Been here several times and ala carte food has always been really good. Breakfast buffet though can't compare to the wider spread available in other hotels in the area.

Food was just ok. Nice environment. They have filipino and Mediterranean food. Their cheese was delicious. Didn't have so many options. Were expecting better quality with eggs Benedict.

Everything is beautifully presented on our table. Check out their lobster in a chinese takeout box. Its so beautiful you wouldnt wanna eat it. But you have to because its so flavorful you'll want more.

The Tapenade Salad Room Buffet at around ₱800-something per person allows you access to their Salad Room that includes not only a comprehensive salad bar but also seafood such as mussels, shrimps and oysters (that you can request to bake with cheese), chorizo, soup, assorted cheese, cold cuts, breads, jams and fresh fruits among others. On Thursdays, they even have a throwback price promo of around ₱600-something. You get to enjoy a wide selection for a reasonable price and dine in their beautiful restaurant located in Discovery Primea. They also have excellent service. Best to call for the exact prices and for reservations.

Finally got to try Tapenade's Salad Room. My husband and I aren't fans of buffets, we can't just get our money's worth. If we really must eat at a buffet restaurant, we usually get cheese, greens and sweets--and that's barely a quarter of what usual buffet joints offer.Good thing my husband told me about the Salad Room buffet, it has all the things we get from buffets at a rate that's right on the budget. Don't expect to make do with just salads --- they offer a good variety of cheese (manchego, mango chevre, and gouda are my personal favorites), tapas, cold cuts, breads, and salads! It comes with a serving of their soup for the day as well. If you need more carbs or protein, you can just order ala carte. But as for us, we were stuffed! Our bill including a bottle of wine is PHP3,600++!We were also delighted with the service. Onin, our server that night, is one of the most gracious and courteous servers we've ever encountered. I already recommended Tapenade's Salad Room to friends halfway our meal.

Always are go to place for lunch meetings. Food was really good especially their salumi pizza. You'll drool on every food served. They also serve good tasty pasta.

It’s only my second time to be here in Discovery Primea. I still vividly remember my initial visit, I was invited then to conduct a talk on food trends. Last night was quite similar, and I was here to appreciate food as my family celebrated Mother’s Day. We had mostly an Italian feast of multiple kinds of pasta and pizza. And we got to pair these with some tapas and drinks before the alcohol ban took effect because of the elections. The service is top notch. Tapenade’s wait staff was on their feet to address our needs, going the extra mile for specific requests. We had four kids in our table, and they made sure the little ones get attended to. Food, in general, was just okay. And that’s the reason why I am giving them a 3-star rating. I just couldn’t give higher since the price points were also considerably high. Most of what I tried lacked herbs and spicesFor starters, Fritto Misto disappointed our group. The fried fish, shrimps and squid ensemble was bland. And the side dip of aioli didn’t boost it either. We got three kinds of pizza, Roasted Mushrooms, Speck & Wild Arugula, and Quattro Formaggi. The crusts were too chewy and again, not as flavorful as it should be. The plates of pasta, Penne El Telefono and Penne Al Tulfo, on the other hand, were a tad better. The sauces were authentic in taste, and the penne was on point in texture. I also liked the Croquette, Almejas Chorizo, and Tortilla Menorquin, these three appetizers had bold elements to it, unlike some of what we had. I ordered desserts for everyone. Since they have a limited number of choices, I got all varieties except for ice cream. The Gianduja Chocolate Cake was everyone’s top pick. It was layers of chocolate with nice kit kat like crunch on its base. Our table also got pistachio filled but overly sweetened Baklava, creamy Manchego Cheesecake, delectable Crema Catalina and caffeine-rich, moist Tiramisu. There is a Tapenade Signature Salad Room where you can get a decent range of unlimited Mediterranean offerings for under a Php 1,000 just in case you visit here really hungry. Here they have charcuterie, cheeses, salads, and chilled kinds of seafood. A third trip here should come in the near future. My brother got a room, and it was impressive. So am looking at a staycation soon.

It was really good food! We had dinner here today and we enjoyed it. Our favorites were, surprisingly, the appetizers: Angry Mussels and Moroccan Shrimp. But don’t be misled - even though the mussels were considered appetizer, the serving was larger than what we expected! The chorizo and snapper were okay, but not as amazing as the Angry Mussels and Moroccan Shrimp. In terms of price point, it averaged around P650 per person, after applying the 15% discount for check-in guests. The service was also excellent as well! Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating.Definitely highly recommended!

Paella is a dish that was originally farmers’ and farm laborers’ food. This dish was cooked by cooking over a wood fire for a lunchtime meal. This dish was traditionally made with rice, and vegetables available, and beans to add texture. There are cases where they even add a rabbit or duck when there is a special occasion, and they even add a dash of saffron. This dish was made in a pan with a flat bottom and traditionally ate in the pan with a wooden spoon.

We were invited at Tapenade to have a preview tasting for the celebration of World Paella Day this September. We also tried some of their ala carte dishes. September 2018 – Known for its extensive menu of flavorful Mediterranean fare, Restaurant Tapenade at Discovery Primea celebrates Spanish culture and traditions with a 4-day feast beginning on September 20, showcasing the noteworthy flavors of this iconic specialty dish. I love the interiors of Tapenade. It's very cozy and sophisticated. Diners are invited to partake of the festivity starting on World Paella Day, Thursday, September 20. Guests may upgrade their Salad Room experience for an additional PHP300++ to add unlimited servings of paella to the hearty selection of local and imported produce, charcuterie, cheeses, and fresh seafood. To start off, we had an order of red wine which was mixed with Manille calamansi liqueur. It's refreshing and you would barely notice the alcohol. A good pair for the dishes from the salad room and paella. From the salad room, I love the prosciutto, gravlax, and the cheese sticks.Next up, are the much-awaited paella:The paella’s popularity stems from its abundance and winning combination of toasted rice, filling meats, and flavorful seafood, making it an ideal showpiece for meals and gatherings with family and friends. Discovery Primea’s Executive Chef Luis Chikiamco presents his own variations of this classic festive rice dish, available only during the 4-day feast. The spread features Paella al Chilindrón made with chicken and lamb; Paella de Champiñones made with shiitake, portobello, and button mushrooms; and Paella con Jamón, a festive combination of majestic ham and quezo de bola that oozes of nostalgia. Each paella is prepared carefully, cooked over an open flame, and served on the piping hot pan for guests to enjoy. Personally, I could not pick among the three which is the best one. Each type is unique and delectable. Everything is a must-try!Food lovers and fans of Spanish fare may enjoy these dishes and more starting on World Paella Day and throughout the whole weekend. The Salad Room with unlimited servings of paella is offered for lunch and dinner at a special price of PHP1,091 nett per person on September 20 and PHP1,200 nett per person from September 21 to 23. Rates include taxes and service charge.Aside from the unlimited paella, we also had some ala carte orders:Fritto Misto. Crispy fried squid, shrimp, and snapper with lemon-garlic mayo. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. I love how the squid was not chewy at all. Lamb Chops "Scottadito." Tender and good.Patatas Bravas. A spicy potato treat.Stone-Baked Feta Cheese. Sun-dried tomatoes, capers, Greek Metaxa brandy, honey. The cheese is good and I like the brandy and honey mix a lot. Polvo. Bite-sized octopus. I also like that it's not chewy. Gianduja Cake. Chocolate-hazelnut mousse, crunchy praline, and salted caramel banana. This is really good. Manchego Cheesecake. Fresh imported berries and coulis. Had this for takeout. Also good.
