Had lunch here a few days ago. It was my first time and I'm pretty satisfied with what i ate😊 I called them thru the website app. I reserved a table and arrived at the resto around 11:30AM. We were one of the first few customers that day, so we were able to choose the best seats.I ordered the Steak Kaku Bento meal. Since I don't eat raw food, (i know, it sucks right?) I asked them to cook my sushi.. and they did. I really enjoyed the salad, the (stir fried) sushi and of course the steak. Quite pricey (bento is over P700/pax) but I super enjoyed whole experience thru the food plus the excellent service.

If you're looking for authentic Japanese dish, this is the place. They have private sit that will make your stay more intimate. I just find the menu quite expensive bc I was a student when I ate here.

I went here yesterday night. I satisfied with what we ordered. Uni sashimi was fresh as well. I gave 4.5 because the price was abit higher than other place. But their staff were always arounding which it was really easy to approach them whenever we need them.

I am not a big Japanese cuisine fan but when I tried the food here, I loved it immediately.  Tasty and good quality.  Food is memorable, I already decided to return to this restaurant and bring my husband.  Enjoyed the Salmon Maki, Usuyaki Steak (US Ribeye Thin Slices with mushroom) and Tempura.  Pricey though but I believe it will really cost more for its standard.

Tanabe is one of my go-to restaurants when I want a solid, delicious, no-fail dinner. We always go for the Gindara Bento, php880, because it's good enough to share, and every piece is delectable. It has fish, salad, tempura, tofu, tuna and salmon sashimi, rice, miso soup, dessert (ice cream or fruits), and free-flowing hot tea. Their strawberry ice cream is the best!

You can tell it's good Japanese food when the place fills up with Japanese guests. The bentonite boxes are reasonably-priced. Service is good.

The food here was very good. Apparently Bourdain went to the one in Malate. I did not take pictures of the other food we ordered but it was indeed a true feast Quimson style. We had the beef rolls filled with mushrooms, uni cooked in butter and wrapped in a foil OMG, rib-eye was pretty good and tender, of course my staple of fried chicken japanese style. I ALWAYS order this dish to try and here it was good. We followes up a few dishes but generally the service good! Til the next one!

I love Japanese food and this restaurant passed my qualifications. The foods that we ordered are all tastes so good. You can really feel the Japanese vibe on that place. The price is very reasonable for the serving size. I will go back there for sure.

Everything's expensive! Nothing special in the food too. This Chicken Teriyaki Don with Miso Soup cost 450php. But kudos to the staff for being attentive to our needs.

Probably the one of best traditional Japanese Restaurant in country. The sashimi is very fresh and the food is very consistent. The dishes are very authentic. We usually come here for special occasions.
