A bit pricey, noodles is not that hot. But the yakitori beef was so good and even more delicious when dipped in its bbq sauce. It was so tender like you were eating a steak. 😅

Service:  quite slow service and short staff. Food: Good but i'm a bit disappointed the sushi maki weren't stock. I had to order Salmon sashimi instead. And another thing, the soup was not hot. I think the waiter didn't serve right away. it's been sat there for few minutes.

It was my first time dining here and actually wasn't expecting much. Been hyping by my friend over their SumoSam roll so I gave it a try. Nothing spectacular to blow your mind. Its just ok. It's pretty huge and good for sharing. I also ordered their Katsudon which is just so-so. Everything here is expensive so expect to shell out more.

The noodles in the Seafood Yakisoba was perfectly soft but not chewy. We had the Cheese Fried Maki which was delicious. Ebi Tempura was okay. The food here is generally pricier than it's worth.Nice ambience but I'm not a fan of the lighting. Their house water is cucumber-infused which I love. You can request for the plain water too if infused water is not your thing.

My wife and I went to sumo sam expecting good Japanese food. (Not our first time here, but first time in this branch). We ordered katsudon, dynamite and chicken teriyaki with rice. The waitress said that our orders would take 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes had past and our orders didn’t arrive yet. The2 tables beside us who arrived a few minutes ago got their food already. We told the waiter to rush and follow up our food kasi nauna pa yung katabi namin, so then after the long wait, our food arrived. The katsudon and dynamite was ok but the chicken teriyaki is burnt as in AMOY SUNOG LASANG SUNOG. ULING NA LANG DAPAT INORDER NAMIN LOL HAHA Finally after an hour of waiting our order is complete. Definitely eating in ooma next time, which is just beside sumo Sam

Ate here with my husband for lunch and we ordered chicken teriyaki, dynamite roll and katsudon. We were told that our order would arrive 15-20 minutes and so we waited for 45 mins and it still hasn’t arrived. We rushed our order and the katsudon arrived. About 10 minutes, we rushed our 2 other orders and the roll came. My husband had finished his food and the teriyaki still hasn’t arrived but the 2 tables beside us who arrived after us had their orders completed and the table across us had their additional order served. I calmly called the waitress and told her the tables who came after us had their orders and we still didn’t have ours completed and so after a few more minutes of waiting, it arrived. With the looks of it, it was already burnt but I gave it a try and true enough, it was all burnt and so I had it replaced.I wondered why it came only 10 minutes after I had it replaced when our initial order took more than an hour to arrive. The second one was better but still burnt. I didn’t care anymore because I wanted to have my lunch already considering myself being pregnant. IN ADDITION TO THIS, on the side of their “service desk”, there’s a pitcher of water and I saw the waitress pour melted ice from the bucket into it. This is the most unhygienic thing I have ever seen done in a restaurant. I’m never coming back.

First time to visit at this branch. Ordered my all time fave spicy tuna salad. Taste is still the best for me however, it came with a worm this time. This is a first for me. The manager apologized and assured me to “handle” his kitchen people. Will still go to sumo sam, pero unsure if will try pa rin sa branch na to. Please be more careful next time. Thanks.

We used to frequent this place a few years back. My mom likes the food - particularly the Salmon Wasabi Cream and the Salmon Head Kabutoni. I honestly don’t like anything with wasabi but the Salmon Wasabi Cream tasted good. It doesn’t have the strong taste of wasabi. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available when we dined there so we got the Salmon Head Kabutoni instead. The sauce tasted like teriyaki sauce - sweet. It was also good but I wish that they put more sauce in it or gave us additional sauce. Food is pricey for its serving.

Staff is less than stellar. Calling them lazy is a compliment. Food isn't that great anyway. Gateway Center. Stay away. Have to wait almost one hour for food. Then the imbeciles bring out the food piecemeal. One friend got his food 20 minutes before anyone else. Total lack of professionalism and common sense.
