Meeting up with fellow foodies to kick-off the website Tagaytay food trip. To prepare for the day, I had a little snack--a warm sausage roll and a Venti iced tea. Starbucks' sausage roll makes an excellent pick-me-upper in the morning with its warm and flaky pastry. And I noticed a new item today: the chicken pastel empanada. Looking forward to trying this on my next visit.

I don't frequent any Starbucks because one, I already drink too much coffee at home, and two, I find their drinks too sweet. I recently went to this branch as the meetup place for an out of town website meet-up, and since I was already starving, I decided to try the wasabi tuna turnover, which really looked good and inviting through the glass display. Actually, I didn't know it was wasabi until I saw the menu, and I sort of hesitated, but my friend convinced me to get it just so we could taste it and he could take a picture of it (which I failed to do haha). It was actually quite good, but I think the wasabi was a bit too much. Thankfully, I was able to tolerate it due to the generous amount of cheese and tuna. As for the service, the turnover was supposed to be for dining in, but when I claimed it, it wasn't plated. In addition, though it was heated, the turnover still had some cold parts. Buti na lang masarap pa rin. :)

Highly recommended for those who are into quiet seclusion. Hehe. Very few people go here except at 11pm and 1am during breaktimes of call center employees in alphaland. Good place to study or for those who just want to have a quiet chitchat with friends...It is where I completed my stickers for my 2017 SB Planner.. 😊😊 @joycesanares

If you're always using SLEX, this is a nice stop over before heading down south. Its in a nice location along SLEX just after Magallanes interchange. We were here Monday morning and you can have the place to yourself.

Trying the new product of Starbucks Coffee called The Perfect Oatmeal. I got a small bowl of the old fashioned style whole-grain oatmeal for Php95.00, but if you purchase any tall handcrafted beverages you will get the bowl of oatmeal served with dried fruits and honey for Php75.00 only.🍇The Perfect Oatmeal - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5“It’s very classic. I like the tangy flavor of the dried fruits, it complement with the milky and melts in your mouth whole-grain oatmeal.”BTW, best paired with Iced Americano.#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
