Frittata and Toasted Bread is Taste SUCKS! The price is too high for terrible taste and presentation! Matcha Latte - I expected it without sugar so I can put the way I want to taste it and I prefer without sugar. Therefore, their crew is not customer oriented!

A good tambay place. Tried the capuccino and it was ok. Better if they have more food/pica choices. Even cookies or desserts would work if they don't want to lean towards meals.

Having coffee at staple and perk is like having coffee at home in the 50s. The retroesque feel gives this mom and pop cafe/bakery a homey atmosphere. I am a fan of their pizza creations, not so much their pasta, however what really captured my attention was the freshly baked flaky and buttery bread served fresh daily. I wouldve rated them higher however because Staple and Perk is a slightly pricey place I had to hold back a little.

Went here once and have never gone back. Why? Because the staff, specifically the cashiers, were not accommodating and seemed pissed off when people order (we ordered twice since we stayed for more than 3 hours). When we asked for the prices, one cashier who looked bored, just pointed at this and that without speaking. Parang ayaw kami pag-orderin.

While our daughter swung by Ecoplaza Building, Makati City for a work thing, my wife and I waited for her at Staple and Perk Bakery right next door. It was a nice place to pass the time. The interior is simple yet trendy, with a spacious, high-ceiling, white brick wall design. It's got more of a coffee shop atmosphere than that of a bakery, a comfy place to study or socialize and its open 24 hours. Instead of handing out numbers on a stick to represent your order, they lend you a colorful, cuddly giraffe stuffed toy. Ordered a hot, freshly brewed cup of Americano and it was alright. Customer service is not their strong point but overall, Staple and Perk Bakery is a fine alternative to your usual coffee hangout.

Staple and Perk is located at Eco Plaza building, and I was running low on phone battery and it's a good thing they have available electrical sockets for customers and the wifi is also very dependable. I like the ambience of the place especially the high ceiling becaus it makes the restaurant more spacious and not at all crowded even though most of the tables are occupied when I got there. Over all, I like the design/ theme of the restaurant - very tumblr-esque. The only thing I find weird is that they give stuffed toy as order numbers? I mean we are all familiar with number stands and disks that light up when your order is ready right? I just find it weird but it's also cute in a way. I ordered braised chicken in lemon, with a side of rice and salad. The hefty chicken serving is good but I really wasn't expecting the braised dish to have a creamy sauce? It was also in the expensive side and I think I didn't get the full value for my money. I have yet to try their coffee and non coffee based drinks as well as pastries and sandwiches.

The key to enjoying Staple and Perk:1) order coffee2) don't order anything elseI have eaten here on a few occasions. Like many of you, i was waiting for my passport or visa or interview or something. I would say the food is decent but the coffee is better. For example, their bacon shallot pasta? It's not as good as they claim. Nakakasuya. The best part of it is the garlic bread. The first time I had one of their sandwiches and it was forgettable and normal.Pricing is alright. I wish I could buy that giraffe....

I went here on a Friday night with a friend because we wanted a chill night with coffee so we decided to try this place. However, originally just "coffee" but we were eager to try their rice meals and i swear those were bomb! I will definitely be back for more. This place is just so perfect for a "chill" night especially for students who want to pull an all nighter. I just find it really spacious but in totally i'll recommend this for everyone. This place is open 24/7 so if you have the urge to have late night coffee this is a must go to place in Chino Roces.

Thought of going somewhere else and sought for a 24-hr place nearby. And so we went there! They've got nice and simple but very cozy spacious interior.Lots of tables, got magazines and they've got little giraffes displayed on their counter which add a little cuteness in the place.Until we decided to take our order. We were kinda clueless which is which looking on their menu.It appears that they have a lot to offer but we were still somewhat full when we went there. My friend was taking time to decide bec she got distracted taking pics of the place. So I ordered first(cafe mocha). It was good!proven reviews! but got bad impression to the food attendant. She was not accommodating. She didn't even recommended something for us to order.mY friend asked nicely if she could only order garlic bread, the girl didn't answered nicely.parang ayaw niya kami pag-orderin nun.She was like stomping even when we came in.We could hear the glasswares LOUD and CLEAR ,and that her doing something back there.Didn't even smile, not even a good morning greeting even at first that we came in to the store.then she was seemed mad when I gave her 500 and don't have smaller bill.I even apologized but she didn't acknowledge it.I just ignored it after but felt off when she presented the coffee...no saucer?!!!don't know if that's how really is it but I've been to so many cafe's and I don't think that's how you serve hot coffee to a customer.tsk..tsk...!She was frowning the whole time.Never saw her smiled not even to other customers.hays..even when she served my friend's orders, parang bigat na bigat siya sa ginagawa niya.hays..I'd like to go back for more sana bec of the food reviews but hope hindi siya ang naka-duty(Junalyn Umaslay)sayang yung food and yung place.

Pitiful.I used to love Staple & Perk. Imagine: a 24 hour cafe with spacious tables and an abundance of sockets, perfect for the student who needs an all-nighter for an exam or anyone who wants to have profound late-night conversations with their friend --- eh almost, but not quite.A few months ago, the experience was fine I assure you. I got to finish comprehensive analytical chemistry reports and etc in Staple & Perk. The beverage, although not outstanding, was still satisfying nonetheless. But recently, I went to Staple & Perk to study very difficult calculus and instead of a conducive environment, I found myself SO distracted to the extent of being frustrated with the music, the ambience, everything. The music is too loud. For a cafe setting, music should be at a volume at which it is most pleasant to PASSIVELY listen to. It should be ambient, not NOISY cheap pop music that is played on loop. Last time I checked, Staple was a coffee shop slash bakery NOT a bar.The beverage: back then it was fine, but now, they served me an iced white mocha with solid particulates. By solid, it means the syrup had solidified or the contents were not properly mixed or dissolved. My god! Unpleasant, if not revolting.I used to appreciate a cafe like Staple & Perk, coming to rescue whenever there's an exam the following day. Yet the inconsistency in their business will be the cause of its downfall, and I hope that my experience today, is not yet a symptom of such.
