This place is a beaut. A great date night place if you want to impress someone. Their dessert section is their asset. All chocolate desserts are just divine! No extenders, you will feel the fine chocolate to your bone. But as a buffet afficionado, Spectrum does not give you a lot of value for your money.Going around, each cuisine will roughly have 5 dishes. My brother had a good portion of their steak, but i got a rough one.Drinks not included in the buffet except for coffee and tea.

Very conducive for intimate gatherings. Quality food, perfect ambience and responsive staff all result to a great experience. Food and drinks are relatively pricy but i'd still go for this every now and then 😊

I'll go back to Spectrum for their fresh seafood and risotto, and choices of mediterranean appetizer which is not usual in other buffet dining.

Very good place to have breakfast. We stayed at the Fairmont for 3 nights and had breakfast here every day. It’s always a good experience with nice choices of breakfasts. It’s always American, Middle Eastern, Japanese, Chinese, and of course local Philipines varieties. Always good and fresh salad, bread, and fruits. This restaurant also have good free flow coffee and tea. Iced or warm water always served right after they served coffee or tea. Aside from the spread on the buffet, guests also allowed to have ala carte eggs, waffle and many other specialties. Service always impeccable, proper, and friendly. A must try when in Manila!

Reception desk (Sandy) not very helpful. Even if it the restaurant is defined as an all day dining they will turn you away at 1135am and make you come back at 12pm. Two people 1 senior at ninety agent did not offer to book or have the senior sit inside. Please see further comments on trip advisor. May 29 2019 1135am

Dito nagpakain yung tita in law ko nung birthday nya.. Quality over Quantity kumbaga..

Lunch buffet starts at 12nn. We arrived around 11:30 and was asked to wait at the lounge since they can only let us in by 12nn. The lounge was already full of diners and those waiting for the lunch buffet that they eventually let us in around 11:50am but we had to wait for 12nn to get food. We liked the food. I usually skip the salads in a buffet but I was enticed to try their Caesar Salad since there’s a chef mixing the greens and dressing for you, you just need to put the toppings you want (personally loved the eggs and bacon bits). Happy with the dimsum specially the siomai and patatim (yes patatim was part of their dimsum ❤️). I went back for 2nds on these 2 dishes. The poke was interesting, got the tuna one and it was very nice. It has some Japanese rice with black sesame and the tuna and some fish skins. Love my Tuna Sashimi. Lots of interesting desserts, enjoyed the sweets too much that I forgot to get fruits! They use Arce Dairy for their Ice Cream (as confirmed from their staff). Yum! Lunch buffet on a Saturday costs P2400 each but a friend has ARC card so we just paid P1200 per pax. So so worth it!

Disclaimer: My rating of 4 is based on my visits here wherein I availed of the 50% off buffet rate Citibank Promo as well as the Citibank Birthday Promo where celebrant eats for free with at least 1 paying adult at 30% off buffet rate. I have not eaten here at full price. The high rating of 4 is value for money based on discounted rate where you get quality hotel food and service at a way lower price than other hotel buffets. Also, the selection is limited compared to other larger scale hotel buffets so I don’t recommend eating here at regular price. It’s a good thing their Citibank Promo is until December 2019.I like it here, aside form the promo rate, because it’s not overwhelming. I focus first on my favorite Salmon Sashimi and a few makis for my appetizer. Their salmon sashimi is of good quality and delicious. There is a salad station and risotto station too but I skipped those and went straight to the cheese station after my sashimi fix. Don’t expect it to be as extensive as Spiral’s Cheese Room, LOL, but there’s enough to satisfy my cheese cravings. I make a mini cheese platter on my plate with brie, gruyere and 2 other cheeses with a drizzle of honey and a side of different fruity jams plus some meats and breads.Next, I head straight to the carving station for the roast beef with gravy which was flavorful and tender and then a slice of the porchetta too but unfortunately although the skin was crisp, it was weirdly very hard, good thing the meat was juicy. Only after the carved meats did I browse through the other dishes (Chinese, Filipino, Indian, etc.) and got a tiny piece of everything I fancied just to taste.Next, dessert station! I loved the coffee jelly and tiramisu. The bread pudding which I drizzled with caramel sauce (meant for the ice cream) was good as well but too filling, wish they came in a smaller serving. Had my fill of ice cream flavors too - ube, cheese and matcha. Funny thing is I thought all hotels made their own ice cream but I saw the canisters on my way out and they were from Arce Dairy. The good thing is I loved the Calamansi Lemon Sorbet which I had 3 scoops of and so now I know I can just buy it in the grocery whenever I’m craving for it. There’s a halo-halo and kakanin station too which I skipped.Last stop, another round of Salmon Sashimi and cheese platter to end my meal. Oh they serve free coffee or tea also with the buffet.

Food selections are not as expansive as other hotel buffets but sufficient. Covers all the basics (Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, American, Asian, they also have Mediterranean). Food is good (some are just ok though). Staff is super helpful and always with a smile. Interiors need to be refreshed soon as it slowly shows it’s age (reupholster chairs, clean the carpet maybe?). Service is superb!

Adequate food choices. Surprised that the japanese one only had maki and sushi and no tempura and tonkatsu which is a staple for buffet. I love the roasted chicken and the person handling the steaks and pasta was really nice. Def recommend
