Speakeasy is my McLaren's being the bar right across our condo in The Columns Ayala Avenue Tower One. The ambiance is one the best looking chic, brand new and clean. Service staff are well dressed. Cocktails are among the best - my favourite being the Sangrita, a traditional Mexican shot of tequila accompanied by spiced tomato juice. My brother prefers the Bacon Bloody Mary. Bar Manager Alyona is an artist. For dishes, I highly recommend the roast beef with mash and vegetables. The chef is an artist!

A Nalistia

First thing. Don't expect a speakeasy type bar, it isn't hidden, it isn't dark and dingy, and doesn't feel like the prohibition era. Putting the name aside its a cool little bar with Wednesday trivia nights and not a bad place to catchup for a couple of after work beverages.

Gab Sanchez

Located in the ground floor of relatively new building - Alphaland Makati Place, Speakseasy is a convenient place for a classy business dinner. The ambiance is nice and quiet, with dim lights that complements the mood even more. Dishes are quite pricey but if you want to try something new in the area, it’s worth a try.

Sit down, kick back, have a few meals and take down the drinks. The food is super awesome, it does the job. There are some winners on the menu, the drinks come cold. The staff make sure you're look after. You can see this being the local hang out for a lot of people who just want to chill and not get bothered. The menu is definitely full of calories, so look out! I'll come back here again.

Finally got time to experience the place...the food is nice, unfortunately i got full too soon. I underrated the sodas while browsing the menu until i tried the passion fruit soda (what my friend ordered, so i followed her), refreshing and nice to the taste. I hope i can visit the place again to try the other foods/drinks...that is if my friend decides too (wink)
