I keep coming back for the food and service. The owners and staffs are friendly and makes sure that you are happy with the service. Food is delish and served always fresh. I always order the asopao and the cuban sandwich.

I got curious of this Puerto Rican cuisine joint every time I would pass by going to my barber shop. Yes, after my haircut, I decided to try this place and I had no regrets. Even from the complimentary banana chips, I would say that this place should sell this in retail packs, and I'm definitely gonna purchase packs of this.  Finally when my Chicken Mofongo with  black beans was served, it was one of the best meals I've had and it packs a lot of flavor.  So if ever you pass by the San Agustin street below the Felipe and Sons barbershop, you might consider eating at Sofrito,

The most notable item I've tried here is their Tres Leches. It's a bit more expensive than the average cake but sinking your teeth into a slice of this is really heavenly. The place has a colorful Latino charm. Great place to visit if you're up for a gastronomic adventure!

Its all about the Cubano! Sofrito is situated next to where I get my haircuts from and from the moment I saw Cuban Sandwhich on the menu I knew I had to have one. A short walk from work we decided to pre order for lunch one day and got take out. Opening the bag we were quite delighted to see a nicely pressed panini with melty cheese, ham roast pork and pickles! Yum yum yum! Perfect balance of salty and pickly lol with a variety of textures in between. I also loved the fact that they came with a side of fried plantain chips. Very crispy and delicious!

A piece of heaven in Asia . I visit Manila 2 times a year and I found this place , I'm from New York and I been living in Asia for the past 8 years now I found a big excuse to come here more often . I ate there 4 time while I wast here tried almost everything ,the tostones are the highlight also the rice and beans nice authentic flavor the only thing I was disappointed was thy served you the empanadas with guava sauce I had never saw that in my life and I'm Puerto Rican descent , empanadas are serve with non sweet dressing . Overall was excellent. I strongly recommend if you happen to be in Manila.

Discovered this place early last year and was a huge fan of their cubano and guava cheese empanada and mofongo balls. However when I visited last weekend after a long time, the quality wasn't there. No more free small plate of plantains. The empanada size became so small and we ordered the corn cheese sticks which was way salty and dry. I don't know if the quality dipped because the owner wasn't there. I don't think I'll be visiting anytime soon.

Had a light meal with a pesto, tomato & mozarella panini and green mango-avocado fruit shake. Great flavor on the panini with capers and spot-on heat! Chill place and great music too.

This is my first time in a Puerto Rican resto, the place is clean but a bit small and crews were attentive and friendly. Got served with free banana chips which are crispy and flavorful while waiting for our orders. I ordered Arroz con Lechon while my colleagues ordered Mofongo Camarones. Their servings are ok and the food are flavorful, specially the bean soup (been burping the bean soup for the entire day). For me the dishes are a bit pricey but over all dining experience is fine.

Had one of our lunch teams here and we had a good dining experience. The place is small so it was a good thing that we came in earlier than the lunch crowd.I ordered the Arroz Con Lechon. I found the neat a little dry and since I am not much of a bean fan, i had to take these out from the rice.I also got the Ripe mango and strawberry shake and it was quite refreshing. We also shared the Mango Salad with Balsamic Vinegar while waiting for the main dishes to arrive. They also served Banana Chips for free. What I enjoyed the most was dessert. We had their famous Brookie topped with vanilla ice cream and the Tres Leches. Both were sweet and good.

Bumped into this place while looking for a quick lunch after my haircut at adjacent Felipe and Sons. Piqued my interest, being a puerto rican resto. Ordered a Cuban sandwich and was immediately taken away with it. The bread was perfectly done. Not too crispy and flaky and not too chewy. The meats were also just the right kind of tender. What's so special about this sandwich is the burst of flavors you experience in your mouth with each bite. Salty, tangy, a hint of spicy and other flavors which all mix well with the taste buds and leave just about enough to linger pleasantly after the last bite. Downed this with a raspberry ice tea which was very refreshing and not too sweet. The place has cozy and quaint ambiance and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place and will probably be back to try their other dishes
