I keep coming back for the food and service. The owners and staffs are friendly and makes sure that you are happy with the service. Food is delish and served always fresh. I always order the asopao and the cuban sandwich.

I got curious of this Puerto Rican cuisine joint every time I would pass by going to my barber shop. Yes, after my haircut, I decided to try this place and I had no regrets. Even from the complimentary banana chips, I would say that this place should sell this in retail packs, and I'm definitely gonna purchase packs of this.  Finally when my Chicken Mofongo with  black beans was served, it was one of the best meals I've had and it packs a lot of flavor.  So if ever you pass by the San Agustin street below the Felipe and Sons barbershop, you might consider eating at Sofrito,

The most notable item I've tried here is their Tres Leches. It's a bit more expensive than the average cake but sinking your teeth into a slice of this is really heavenly. The place has a colorful Latino charm. Great place to visit if you're up for a gastronomic adventure!

Its all about the Cubano! Sofrito is situated next to where I get my haircuts from and from the moment I saw Cuban Sandwhich on the menu I knew I had to have one. A short walk from work we decided to pre order for lunch one day and got take out. Opening the bag we were quite delighted to see a nicely pressed panini with melty cheese, ham roast pork and pickles! Yum yum yum! Perfect balance of salty and pickly lol with a variety of textures in between. I also loved the fact that they came with a side of fried plantain chips. Very crispy and delicious!

A piece of heaven in Asia . I visit Manila 2 times a year and I found this place , I'm from New York and I been living in Asia for the past 8 years now I found a big excuse to come here more often . I ate there 4 time while I wast here tried almost everything ,the tostones are the highlight also the rice and beans nice authentic flavor the only thing I was disappointed was thy served you the empanadas with guava sauce I had never saw that in my life and I'm Puerto Rican descent , empanadas are serve with non sweet dressing . Overall was excellent. I strongly recommend if you happen to be in Manila.
