    Came here with the family the other day. Absolutely love their decor and ambiance! very sophisticated and original. The meat is some of the best quality meat I've had in Manila and the menu offers a lot of choice. It can still however be very expensive for a nice meal. Will come back but save it for special occasions :)

    We just had fun and we ate Fresh Oysters, Baked Oysters and the Aged Steak. I love the place and it’s really classy. I’ll go back there soon.❤️

    Looking for a place with excellent cuts of meat and amazing sides to compliment your meal? This is the place to be. Absolutely loved it here that we keep coming back. We loved the food, fav is the brocolini but you can go wrong with their meat, they do meat so well and my fav has been the dry aged meat. Excellent food and desserts.high recommended place

    We had the Manila Clam chowder for our starter and the Porterhouse for our main course, plus the steak rice, mac and cheese truffle, spinach, and grilled vegetables for our sides. Meat is flavorful, but we found it too dry and tough. We wanted our steak in medium rare, but had it closer to medium, which is kind of disappointing. We thought the steak rice was bland as well, although we enjoyed the mac and cheese truffle. Service is quick, but during our visit, the staff were unfriendly.

    High quality and well-presented dishes made them to stand out. Though, serving time took too long 30-45mins..And, Price is really hefty..Tried 2 main course dishes: 1) Lamb Rack [menu price not updated here - 1800 now], the food is good and the meat is succulent, though not the best as I expected.. Of course, we did not passby trying their famous steaks - had medium rare USA sirloin steak (organic, grass fed) - the serving is huge probably 12oz or even bigger.. it comes with 2 sides - haf creamy mashed potato and we upgrade the other to roasted bone marrow - everything is perfect, the tender steak and its very flavorful aroma.. the only mistake I had was to not try their aged meats (hate myself that time). and for the dessert was to try their tiramisu that comes with blue petals and wild strawberry and is also good.Will try to have their aged steaks next time..

    Best meal I have had in Manila. Quality almost par with top Melbourne restaurants. The only let down was the cheese plate which was miserable. Great vale on an international cos basis albeit pricey on a local basis. Also loved bar...comfy with great cocktails.

    There was nothing great with Smith and Butcher. We got the porterhouse and boy it was huge! Though the sides were small. The black truffle sauce had no hint of truffle at all. There was nothing special about the crab cakes I honestly wouldn’t pay 200 pesos for it. They could improve on the ambiance I’d say I mean for the price I’d defintely go Raging Bull instead. The seats were mediocre and table kept moving as it was unbalanaced. Even La Cabrera is so much more better than Smith and Butcher. The waiters also got our order wrong twice first they brought the wrong side then after the wrong dessert. All in all, for the price I honestly think It’s not worth it.

    Ordered their Porterhouse which was definitely good for 2 persons. Also had crab cakes to start, and chocolate cake and coffee to finish. Oysters were unavailable. I would say taste wise, everything looked appetizing, but came up short in flavor. This includes their sides, which are small and also nothing spectacular. Favorite food for the whole night was their organic egg which i ordered sunny side up; that was the highlight. Ambiance however was quite nice. Servers however were understaffed, and felt bad for tables in the perimeters who had a hard time getting any service.

    Disappointment.  I got food poisoning from the 'Air flown" tuna here.  The sad thing is that we had a lovely dining experience here. We were shown the back room where they keep the meat.  The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.  Mind you, the ratio of wait staff v customers was a bit off.  The sides were in small portions, and the sizes of the steak were determined by how many people it would feed?  I lived in NYC and the sizes of steak there are much bigger.  So they were a little alarmed when I ordered a steak big enough for 2 people here at Smith.My fiancé and I ate the same thing, except for the tuna tartare.  That was all me.When I got home later that evening, I was vomiting non stop until the morning.  Not a good experience.

    Once we arrived for dinner, we were greeted by a parking lot. Something that is usually absent from most makati based restaurants. This was a pleasant surprise. Coming over, I didn’t have any expectations. The ambiance of the dimly lit ceiling, and modern furniture of wood, metal and steel, it surprisingly comfortable. Once you enter you will see there is a bar to your right side as well as their steak museum to the far back and their cheese selection.
