A fun experience to cook your own pancakes. It's where you play with your food and getting away with it. Try making shapes, letters or anything you could think of. Choose from their variety of batters and combinations. Enjoy!

I visited Slappy Cakes twice. The 1st time was when I tried their pancake for breakfast, the second time was when I had lunch there and tried their all day breakfast meals.Word of advice, stick with the pancakes. The pancakes may not taste all that great but cooking it yourself makes it interesting. The all day breakfast rice meals on the other hand is pretty bad. We ordered the fried chicken fingers and the chicken was tough. The garlic rice that came with the milk fish or "bangus" was so oily. The scrambled egg didn't taste like egg, it tasted like butter! If I wanted butter, I would've just ordered butter instead of drowning my scrambled egg white in butter. But if you do decide to try the food, dont sit by the entrance door to the mall because the servers wont see you. You'd have to walk over to the counter just to call their attention because those tables are not in their line of sight and they dont make it a habit to stay where the customers can see them.

Location - SM Jazz. Convenient for studs and employees near the vicinity.Ambiance - the smokeless grill ambiance. :) which is great but the table was too small for a table with a smokeless stove. We have to constantly move plates to cook our pancakes. To think we are only two persons occupying a seat good for six persons.Service - waiters are quick. But the Salmon Benedict took a bit longer than needed and expected. One particular lady asked for our order but didn't write it down but got everything right. Did nkt promote bestsellers.FoodSalmon Benedict - The perfect combination of eggs, tartar sauce, salmon, pickled onion and spinach on a muffin with potatoes is a real heaven. But the tartar sauce was too strong since it was spread on top. Lesser of it or probably separated.Buttermilk batter, Choco Chip cookies, Whipped Cream - Batter was bland. Almost tasteless unless sprinkled with chocolate chips, or syrup and whipped cream.House Blend Iced - the typical house blend. Not too lemony.Cucumber Lime Aide - A house favorite. Well, did not particularly enjoyed this drink. The cucumber and lime almost did not match. There was a clash of flavors. Each flavor competing on your palatte. But it would be great to prep and cook your on pancaes.Price - Above Expected.900php bill

Nice place. Ambiance is homey. I went and took my PA with me for brunch. Since I live at SM Jazz I walk past it nearly every day, and was wondering why hardly anyone eats there. I still wonder to be honest. We ordered the "Valentines Promo" which was pretty as well as delish.I chose the buttermilk batter, which is rich and fluffy.Toppings; Cream Cheese, Chocolate chips & Blueberry compote. Drinks: Strawberry Milkshake (which is a dessert on its own mind you. If you don't like it sweet, info the waiters)And a Coffee. Which was the best partner for the lush pancakes.Service: Staff is friendly & prompt.Tables: genius! Though the surface area is rather small. I probably wouldn't be able to comfortably fit 6 friends in there, without having to draw up a logistics plan. LolBut the Food itself is worth a return.

I am more into the traditional pancakes -- plain pancakes with butter and maple syrup. For a change, I decided to try the ones created by Slappy Cakes. I had the peanut butter pancakes drizzled with maple and mango syrup, and sprinkled with bacon bits. The taste did not appeal to me that much, but it was nice trying a different kind. It was very pricey, though.

Ordered their Classic burger and the Devil's Cookies&Cream and it did not disappoint. Wow! Yummy! That's what I can say about the dessert and it is a must try when you dine here. As for the Classic burger it is tasty and everything tastes delicious. The waiters are also friendly and you will be greeted with a smile. After we eat, I told the lady that we will come back and try some of their food. Haha.Keep up the very good work Slappy Cakes.

Recently dined here with a friend. It wasn't my first time to eat in this restaurant; my previous experiences were quite ok. But my most recent one wasn't quite a good ordeal. I actually forgot what my friend and I ordered, and it's not worth my time to research. Basically, mine was a burger patty in between buttered bread, too greasy to even describe, to the point that it was disgusting. My friend ordered something that's supposed to be beef with broccoli and mashed potato, which tasted like cheap, canned corned beef with decent mashed potato and overcooked broccoli. The only (medyo) saving grace was the fried cheese sticks.Didn't take pictures of the food as well, as it wasn't worth my phone battery. To top it all off, our bill ended up to be expensive and I'm lucky I was my friend who paid (whew, thanks friend!😁). Plus we had a lot of fun laughing because of the food. I mean, imagine our surprise when he tasted the supposed-beef meal and it was like taking a bite of Argentina corned beef!😂Needless to say, one other resto in my list of "will eat here again only if extremely necessary".

I love, love, love the smoked salmon & avocado toast. All the food i have tried here has been all good. Though the only thing I wish the servings were a bit more. Even their simple burger was really good. The milk shake was cool as you mix it yourself giving you something to do while waiting for the rest of your food order.

good ambiance and well ventilated, food is so so, like ordinary home cooked sizzling food. and if you're into their pancake, its a diy thing. worth trying, price is little bit high for a common food. thanks. pls like fb page prismstore
