As you may have figured out, the place offers a variety of Filipino food selections. From Fishballs, Kilawin and Scramble to dishes such as Sinigang, Lumpia, Banget and Bulalo. Yup, typically all that you expect to get from this type of joint. They also serve desserts like Mango Crush, Halo-halo and Turon. Price, a bit expensive, but hey, it's in Ayala Triangle right? The ambiance is relatively nice, fancy and clean. Service is okay as well. Overall, nothing really special but still a nice choice and good to try. P.S. I was a fan of their Mango Crush dessert then, but I got to try it again just recently and was a bit disappointed. The serving became smaller, and it tasted too, too sweet (not to mention the Ube-not-Mango ice cream). #SIMPLE

Simple lang naman ang pagkaen tlga e. Hihihi. Sinigang with watermelon? Pede. Karekare? Pede. Lechon belly?pede. Crispy noodles with shrimp?pedeng pede! So simple lang din masasabi ko. Simple lang pagkaen nothing extravagant. Just tried this resto with my irish trainer just so she can taste filipino food. But yeah she told me it was grand! Haahaa

I was surprised to  see when I gazed upon the rating of this restaurant and saw how low it could go. Fortunately thanks to the Epic Dining by Visa, it gave that much needed push to prove diners wrong. I loved what they served for us during the night. First was the crispy Palabok that they deconstructed from the sauce.  It was definitely well prepared from the ingredients to the sauce that gave that much needed  flavor that it deserved. The  Laing Daing surprised me from my meal mixing a coconut based viand together with the Bangus ( milkfish) that was simply divine in terms of eating. Of course one should not pass up on the  Binagoongan Baboy that was part of their Pinoy bentos. It was simply that good and should be a must try when you order. Their cheesy chicken sisig is something that could start your meal and also a good compliment to your after work hours inuman.  I must say this restaurant that is part of the raintree group is a must try for those who are in the Makati CBD area in Park Triangle.  I'm definitely looking forward to returning here once again.

Simple lang talaga! LOL the food was good but the portion is smaller.. For some reason and I amsure they have a valid reason why there was that unpleasant odor the moment we entered. Service was kinda slow today, they mixed up the ice calamansi tea and regular ice tea when they serve it. They should also work on how they answers their customer when asked, "do you accept debit card?"' staff: "minsan gumagana maam, minsan hindi" try lang natin mamya"But I will be back for another try

Simple Lang is simply one of the best go-to place for Filipino comfort food with some twists along the way.Great ambience especially with the upcoming Christmas Light Show at the Ayala Triangle, Simple Lang would be an ideal place to bring family and friends over and enjoy several awesome Pinoy fares.Have the Sinigang ni Lola. Pork ribs in a tomatoey sinigang broth balance with radish, finger chili peppers and kangkong.Get their Cheesy Chicken Sigsig and their Laing with Daing na Bangus. Be wowed by their Crispy Pansit palabok and watch them toss the puffy noodles with the tantalizing palabok sauce. What everyone was raving about was the Binagoongang Baboy that proved to be a crowd pleaser with the balanced flavors of the bagoong.

Some dishes like the Monggo with Bagnet and Tinapa are just awesome. But yesterday my coworker and I had a disastrous Halo-Halo which is way too expensive....it tried to stylize my ever favorite dessert which just didn't work. The Okoy is also blah...Service is great, though, and I'll keep coming back for the Unlimited Sago't Gulaman...

This marks the second time i set foot at Simple Lang.  I remember having lunch here  with a relative visiting from Canada a couple of years back.  The visit is not a memorable and the food is mediocre.I happen to cross paths again with Simple Lang today.   This is the third stop of our #EpicDiningByVisa Food Crawl.  I wasn't too excited, truth be told.  My plan was to try two dishes and waive the white flag. Simple Lang has awakened the Hopeless Romantic in me,  it made me believe in second chances,  the "this time I'll be sweeter sort of thing."Sounds a lil sappy,  huh?  Read on...Food.| Crispy Palabok.  Topped with bagnet,  shrimp,  tinapa bits and egg.  Not really a fan of palabok but i took a spoonful nonetheless. The sauce is flavorful, the tinapa bits added a smoky flavor. The rest of thr group seemed satisfied.| Lola's Sinigang.  Pork Riblets,  Pepper Sili,  Tomato,  Labanos and Gabi.  This dish is the doppelganger of Manam's infamous sinigang dish - at least in apperance.  Simple Lang's version is tomato infused hence the red hue.   The pork riblets is tender and flavorful.  I particularly liked the broth as it is perfect mixture of sweet and sour. | Cheezy Garlic Inasal Sisig.   First time. I've had cheese in my sisig and it was....wait for it....awesome!  The cheese added an interesting flavor contrast with the insasal x garlic infused pork jowl.  I wish they added more red chillies though.| Bicolano Daing Laing.  As per the Chef,  fried fish is usually paired wih taro leaves cooked in coconut milk.  I agree,  fish and veggies go well together.  I didn't try the fish as i got my eye on the Laing.  This reminds of the one we had in one of the carinderias in Cam Sur.  The comparison is not intended to offend but to give praise,  it means that their version tastes legit. | Bina-Bet Pinoy Bento.  Two sides.  Pinsec Sipa,  Crispy Okoy,  Mango Salad,  Freshwater Lumpia and Unlimited Soup.  Binagoongan.  I am digging the concept as this is the first time I've seen a bento with a Filipino twist.  I didn't try ze other elements as the Binagoongan is too darn delicious.  I don't want the wash down the awesome flavors by eating something else. The pork ia fall-off-the-bone tender,  the shrimp paste they used is not reeking salt,  it has the perfect blend of sweet and salty. This is the best pork binagoongan I've ever had. As the love song goes...Maybe this time,  it will be love they'll find...Remove the maybe,  i found love in Simple Lang.

I never really complain much about service at restaurants but their service really sucks! You need to ask for everything more than twice - even the bill! So, we had the Crispy Pork Belly Dinakdakan. The serving was really small or to put it more elegantly - gourmet. 😁 But flavor-wise it was good but you cannot share this with anyone as the serving is too small. We also had the Chili Garlic Adobong Pusit. This had more serving and we both liked it. It's been a long since I had this, and I remember its even better than the one I used to have. The dessert was really disappointing. We ordered for a halo-halo. It had no ice cream and worse it had no ube!!! I mean, what the hell?!
