Before Din Tai Fung, Shi Lin was first have its doors in Manila!! Of course, Xiao Long Bao will never be missing in our orders. I love the salted egg squash. Typical chinese food. The restaurant is a bit gloomy, i think because of its lighting. They don’t serve hot tea at the beginning of the course just like other chinese restaurants.

I usually get food here from GrabFood but today Came for the custard bun, dined in and got salt and Pepper chicken and Broccoli The servers were too quick to dish out empty plates. I was still on to my last few bites when my plates were whisked away. But when it came to the bill there was a long wait time.I would eat here again but not dine in.

Last Sunday, i had a lunch with my husband .Upon entering the restaurant and leading us to the table, the waiter suddenly had his wooden tray fall and unluckily, hit my arm. Honestly saying .it was painful.Waiter didnt even bother to apologize. Our lady server just asked if it was painful.. i didnt know if i should complain or not bec the pain subsided. But 2 days after I saw a bruise on my arm.. grrr...

My go-to resto for quick Chinese food! It’s definitely good food for affordable prices. I usually order xiao long bao and their rice toppings to name a few. And oh, i always order their nutella dumpling! Yummy!!!!!

This is our favorite branch of this restaurant in the metro. We like to sit by the window to enjoy the view of Ortigas Center. The dumplings are made fresh on site. We always ask for the original white noodles in our soups; otherwise you get another yellow variety that is not as tasty. Also, remember to ask for chili oil if you want to add some spice to your dipping sauce.
