Came here for the 50off promo with a bank card. Ordered peking duck, angus beef steak, steamed fish, etc. Food and service were good. Except for yang chow fried rice which was dry.

Yesterday we had a Chinese feast! It's been awhile since I had this insurmountable number of dishes in front of me. Thanks to BDO's 50% discount it was made possible. We had 19 different kinds including dimsum and desserts. This food coma experience was made better with superb service despite being full house. The wait staff were interactive and friendly. What stood out among all were the overly soft and tender Wagyu Beef Black Pepper. Its flavors were felt strongly thanks to a balance of black pepper and bell peppers. Another must have is their Salted Egg Prawns. Their giant prawns wrapped around beautifully by salted egg and other spices. Their pricing is up there. Our bill was 19.5k. It's justified however with the quality of meats and ingredients used. For dessert, I suggest that you go for the Trio. It's Butchi done three ways. The Mango Sago with Black Jelly was as delightful with real Mango presence with creamy texture.

This place is good for your money's worth! Love their dimsum and mains. A must visit for family celebrations which features Chinese food at its finest. :)

Went here for a very vegetarian meal, and all I can say is that if I do go vegetarian in the future, this is one of the restaurants I will consider eating at!Cant remember the names of the dishes since I wasnt the one who ordered, but here are the few that made my tastebuds happy : the dish with tofu and mushrooms. I hate tofu but boy was that tofu great!!!!!! So yummy. Spring rolls -- so tasty! Yang chow fried rice, I love a good yang chow fried rice! The sour and spicy soup was also great, though I had a hard time drinking it, the aftertaste is still so good! What I didnt like ~ the fried eggplant dish. I don't really like eggplant and this one is soggy. Also, the beancurd roll with bell peppers (?) dish tasted weird. For dessert we had the almond + lychee bowl. Almond was not soft and thick! But ok!Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Shang Palace as service is top notch, and food was great and different from the lauriats we usually have in parties. Truly lives up to its name. Hope to come back next time to try the meaty dishes.

Was here during a weekday lunch and here's my honest opinion:- Food is okay. Not so good but not bad. Dessert that was supposed to be served cold wasn't cold at all. - Hakaw skin is too mushy. But the filling tasted good and stuffed well. - The beef (Beef Back Pepper) has a bitter taste, felt like a cooking wine was overpowering the overall taste profile of the dish. - Both yang chow and chicken salted fish fried rice are good.- The roast duck was tender. - All food were presented and plated nicely. - Service is bad. Very slow. Can't count how many times we asked everyone for an extra fork, spoon, water, bill follow up.... The food and the service doesn't match the price. I guess I wouldn't be thinking of coming back because nothing had marked my tastebuds plus the really slow service. 😞

A nice place for family /big group events and special occasions. Dishes are for sharing and best for family-style gathering so that you can order a variety of dishes. Especially a must try when you’re checked-in at Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

Everything was posh. They have a grand entrance which I super like. We had their eat all you can dimsum, it was really good - what more made it special is because we are there for a treat :) it is a seated buffet so you have to order as many as you can. The scallops salad was awesome! I can even eat a lot (if I am not watching my diet). Will definitely be back there and bring my family.

Shang Palace is a family favorite. The hot prawn salad is must order. Its not pictured because everybody got to it before we were able to snap a photo! We also enjoy the noodles, seafood hotpot and dimsum. The dimsum plus promo is a pretty good deal. You can order as much dimsum as you can. It also includes some other menu items, including one ala carte dish (We always get the hot prawn salad). Our family has celebrated many occasions here and we still aren’t sick of the good food and the great service. Highly recommended!

We went for their dimsum buffet, and I think it's definitely one of the top choices if you want unlimited dimsum. all the dimsum were great, with their items with shrimp being particularly good like the hakaw and the spinach dumplings with shrimp. Their BBQ pork in flaky pastry was really nice, while their e-fu noodles were kind of bland. Their desserts are really nice, their mango sago has some coconut milk or cream in it, while their fruit plate is pretty big with a wide array of fruits. I would definitely say you get your money's worth here, a great choice for any special occasion.
