This place needs to be revamped. Although i didn't see their kitchen, it just felt dirty. We occupied 2 tables, one griller was broken the other was defective. The server kept on pushing the gas burner to ignite, it felt dangerous that one day it might just explode. So in the end, they provided a portable griller.I just got curious when i saw that they're offering half jjajangmyeon and half jjampong which is quite rare to find in korean restaurants here and to compare the jjajangmyeon i tried in another establishment. I like the other better, their's didn't taste and smell flavorful.Won't come back.

It’s my first time to eat at San Sung. I’m not a fan of Pajeon but San Sung’s pajeon was really great! It was freshly served and it’s flavorful plus there’s a seafood in it. We ordered Jeyuk Bokum spicy pork and Dolsot Bibimbap. I also enjoyed variety of side dishes especially the kimchi!

I'm really stuffed. Somewhere down Burgos St. is a Korean restaurant called San Sung (sounds like a phone brand). It's like right smack at the middle of a small Korean town in Makati. At 9pm, this place is still bustling. Then again, it was a Friday night after all, and Burgos street is teeming with bars, the sleezy ones included. My friend is crazy about Korean culture and dragged us at this place. The place looks really simple. Very plain looking, but their menu is awesome and prices are reasonable too. We ordered the Samgyupsal, Dulsot Bibimbap, Spicy Octopus, and Tteokbokki.I didn't find anything special about the Bibimbap but I liked that the staff cooked the meat for us. They have this rectangular pan and placed this raw meat with some garlic cloves. We wrapped our meat on some lettuce and it was really good. I enjoyed eating the free Banchan though, particularly the Spinach and the fish cake. Our table was overflowing with food and for 3 girls, we tried hard to finish it. The tteokbokki had a unique taste with some chewy noodles. Our friend thought it was weird as she's not into the contrast of the sweetness and saltiness in one dish but I liked it. I loved the chewy tteokbokki and the noodles' texture. The contrast of flavors was a good combination for me. The Samgyupsal was ok, maybe I'm not so much into meat but I prefer the spicy Octopus. The Octopus seemed tougher than a squid but still good.It was one heavy meal and we were stuffed. I'd say this place gives value for your money. The staff were attentive too. Perhaps, the thing I didn't like was the appearance of the restaurant. Looks a bit old. I also don't like seeing feet up on the chair, there were some people who were doing that. Anyway, I think they own the place so they can do anything they want. Still an eyesore but they were friendly though and really grateful to their customers.

I live near here and as far as I know, this korean resto used to be a korean store. It was my first time to dine here, we ordered soybean paste stew and grilled mackerel. They offer unli 10 banchan and all of them were good. Staffs were attentive and accommodating. They even apologized when the refill for banchan served late. Pricey but it's worth every penny. I'll be back here to try their other dishes. Keep up the good work! 😁😁😁BEST JJAJANGMYEON I HAD! MUST TRY!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!

The place feels homey and you'll feel like your transported to one of those Korean restaurants in a Reply series minus the Wi-Fi signs ✌🏻 (Yes, it's free). The food is a-okay tho I just wish they let you cook your own meat so it's really fresh off the grill when you eat it. I guess they just do that to save gas/LPG. The 반찬 are sulit and plenty but maybe because I'm just alone so there were more than enough. I ordered their 우 삼겹살 which is the beef and it was great and sliced just fine. Their 짜장면 was alright, the noodles were chewy but the sauce is nothing spectacular . The staff and the owner are all accommodating and nice.

I always eat here with my family, it felt so homey and cozy every time we eat here and the owner always accommodates us. I personally like their Kimchi and Red bean paste it's my favorite. I've been to different Korean Restos but the spice of their Red bean paste and Kimchi is just right for my taste, not too sour and not too spicy but flavorful. They serve a lot of unlimited side dishes too and the price is reasonable.

My first time to eat in this restaurant. The place was indeed homey. The staffs were accommodating. I was surprised as they served the side dishes, there was like 10 sidedishes that was served to me! I ordered galbitang and onion pancake. The galbitang is okay also the onion pancake that i think was just like an onion omelette. I would recommend this place to my friends too!

💕Date for Two: Samgyupsal, Dwaeji Galbi💌Total: P700Overall: We love the side dishes but the meat are just average. Still, Seoul Galbi tops the list for Korean restos. 😉Value for money: Kinda worth it.

First tried this with my former officemates. It was not my go-to Korean resto but my dining experience was so good, I had to return with my husband several more times. It was pretty convenient because it was 2 blocks away from A. Venue where our church is.What I love about the little restaurant are the Banchan. They usually have my favorites: tteokbokki, fish cakes, and eggrolls. Sundubu Jigae, Jjamppong are great if you want soup. Bulgogi, pajeon, and samyeopsal are mainstay orders. Oh and they. Serve good Jjajjangmyeon, too.The korean owners are very hands-on, yoj can be assured of the authenticity of the food.
