This is another "This time i'll be sweeter" kind of review.   I am offering my best rendition of this  ballad to Salt.  My previous visit was not so satisfactory due to some mishaps with the food (it is nothing alarming,  i tried my best to provide constructive feedback).  Deep in my website heart,  i wanted to give Salt another chance as we have something in common,  geographically speaking and let us not forget that they reached out to me and accepted my feedback with an open mind.  FoodSocietyPh sponsored a Food Crawl last Saturday and Salt is part of our itinerary.  We are all hit by website envy and decided to order food for ourselves.  Note:  Food Crawl food may be part of the photos but not the review is for the ones we ordered separately | Southern Style Chicken.   This is one of those things that surprised me.    I never liked chicken breast as it is the bland and it is the saddest part of the fowl.  Salt's version is nowhere near bland nor sad.  This is surprisingly good and flavorful.  I guess the trick is to cook the meat properly and ensure that the seasoning is on point.  The meat is moist and the breading is crispy and delicious. | Salpicao.   This is a plate full of garlicky goodness.  The meat is tender and bursting with flavors.  This is love at first bite. Sweets| Frozen Brazo.  This sweet treat placed Salt on the map.  I've heard raves about this dessert and after the first bite,  I found myself in the same predicament.  The typical brazo tends to be on the sweet side,  Salt's version is an anomaly,  an irregularity in the system.  Yass!  It is not too sweet and packs with frozen brazo goodness!  | Tartufo Negra.   This is hands down the best tasting chocolate ice cream I've had in my life.  I mean,  Wow!  As the name connotes,  this is made of chocolate truffle.    This is what dreams are mafe of. Salt  knocked my socks off!  Awesome food!

Though the taste of their sauces were just right, their steak wasn't even half good. There were parts in my steak that was left raw, and some parts are difficult to chew. To add insult to injury, entering the establishment was so underwhelming from what I heard. Seeing their staff half undressed, not anticipating any customers. Maybe we disturbed their rest that's why the steak was so bad?

Today, YTB shares a food haven that you can visit to celebrate Father’s day even if you are working on a limited budget. In the heart of Makati is a steakhouse that offers the biggest, tastiest, and cheapest steak you can ever find in the metro! SALT is your go-to place when your budget is limited.

As a steak lover I only tried one item on the menu, and that was their bestseller: T-bone steak. My score (with price factored in): 4/5My score for the steak alone: 3.5/5Cons: I ordered my steak medium-well and it turned out well done (So can't comment on tenderness). Hahaha.Their slab was thinner compared with the others I’ve tried at this price range. No mushroom gravy. (It’s just my personal preference to have my steaks dipped in lots of gravy)Pros:It’s cheap! And for that alone I can give this store a big thumbs up. The 220 price tag already comes with a 1) free iced tea, 2) plain rice, 3) steak of course. And if you’re like me and want a full meal I’d get 2 orders.Flavor - since my steak was cooked somewhat well-done it tasted great. The crispy flavor of fat complemented the tasty, albeit brittle beef.Others:Girlfriend ordered their Frozen Brazo. Score: 4/5Place is cozy and the interiors look pleasant and presentable.

If you're looking for affordable yet sumptuous steaks, this is the place to be. Located within Poblacion, this restaurant is a 10-minute walk from Buendia-Makati Ave. The place is kinda hard to find, but the Waze app can help you. Now onto the food, the steak is amazeballs for something that costs about 200 php. Pretty huge servings and the meat is certainly packed with flavor. I sometimes forget to dip the meat in the sauce because it's already good to eat on its own. The only downside I've noticed (aside from its obscure location) is they're skimping on the rice. Extra rice with steak is a must. :) Another thing to love is their frozen brazo mercedes!!! My boyfriend and I tried to score free dessert from them but all they gave us was the blueberry panna cotta. Now the panna cotta was great and all but nothing beats the brazo. Napa-order pa tuloy kami. All in all, a great dining experience. I've been to this place 3x already and I'm certainly coming back the next time I crave steak.

Honestly i really dont like the location of this place due to the fact that you have to go here either by walk or taxi. However upon reaching the place it was nice and cozy. The designs are very detailed. The ambiance was great too. I ordered their best seller which was the T-Bone steak however for me ut wasnt that tasty. It was just like your regular steak that you can make it at home but in a fancy way. Good thing their customer service was great. They even gave us a free coffee which i really did liked because it was brewed to freshness.

SALT is the place to be for a simple date or if you just want to seek refuge from the traffic. For roughly Php200 a steak, don't expect anything earth-shaking. It's a slab of seasoned meat thrown on the grill, nothing more, nothing less. The steak is on the thin side and sometimes unevenly cooked. In other words, it's good for meat lovers, but not for steak snobs. The menu does not overwhelm the diner with choices, and that's a good thing. They offer a simple handful of items and they're all worth coming back for. The menu could use a bit of expansion and add beer and fries. Seats are uncomfortable though, and you'll want to leave as soon as you finish your meal. SALT is "closed indefinitely" at the time of this writing, so their new look (and menu hopefully) may be worth checking out once they return.

Reasonable food at a reasonable price. Too bad the steak was kinda hard. The salmon steak was good but pricey for the serving. Overall not bas

Para sa akin masarap yung Baked Salmon & The Burger. Yung ibang food ok lang. Yung lugar din ok, dahil hindi gaanong marami ang tao. Mejo hassle lang puntahan kung malayo ka sa makati hehe😁

Great pleace to dine in. We ordered their T-Bone steak and Brazo Mercedes. The food is really good and tasty. They serve medium rare to medium well for their steaks. The ambiance is nice. The staffs are attentive and warm.Kudos, SALT Makati!
