Our go to cafe in Rockwell w/ good coffee and draft beer selections. Highlighted in the photo is a nicely presented Salmon Benedict with poach egg. If you are looking for a light and balance breakfast this is highly recommended, best paired with an orange cappuccino. ☕️

Bad service. I booked a table and I got a confirmation. When I got there my name was not listed in their reservation list and they did not even care or apologize for the inconvenience. Too bad because they got good food and drinks. Their customer service is abysmal.

One of the coziest especially at night. I spent my my birthday here that's why this will always be memorable to me. Perfect for dates too definitely. Favourite spot has to be beside the window. I had white wine and ordered their Angry Pasta, I loved it, sweet and savoury not to mention great music!

Mia and I went here after visiting a wake nearby. Since Refinery serves French Lavender cocktail like Single Origin, we opted to have late night drinks here instead.I tried what Mia ordered; it packed a punch in one sip. That only meant this establishment didn’t scrimp on alcohol. I also found delight in my beverage, Refinery’s own version of Ginger Ale. It had a sweet harmony between spicy ginger and soda. We look forward to coming back here again to indulge in their food. I heard they serve quality salads, pasta, and American sized mains.

Really disappointed with Refinery’s food and service... I am a fan of their coffee specifically Valrhona Mocha and Refinery Benedict. I go here whenever I want to have a special breakfast/ me-time before going to work at 8 Rockwell. I love this restaurant since 2016. So for the welcome lunch of my 2 new colleagues, I recommended Refinery. 6 of us arrived around 11:40am, 3 more followed 20 mins after, so I got to order first. However, my order arrived at exactly 12:42 pm. Yes, I know the exact time coz I kept on looking at my watch in between follow ups. Started to follow up when I realized that the orders of the table beside us were served first even if we got there earlier. The order of my other colleagues who came in later also had their orders served before mine. After 1 hr, my order, lomo saltado rice bowl came. The servers weren’t apologetic at all when they served our food! My colleague who ordered waffles also got hers after an hour (she’ll have her own review of that. Imagine waffles being served after an hour haha). The food looked good. But when I tasted it, grabe sobrang alat! Hindi ganito kaalat ang lomo saltado. I compared it tuloy sa lomo saltado na favorite ko sa isang nearby restaurant. I was really upset. I was so hungry coz I waited for an hour then my food was like this? Hindi ko makain sa alat pero I tried to eat at least half para hindi man lang sayang... I was thinking to inform the servers on the state of my food but what can they do pa ba? Pinaghintay na nga kami ng matagal, hindi pa apologetic, so I’m thinking wala rin sila gagawin sa pagkain ko. I should have really cancelled my order... I told my colleagues, “grabe, ako pa naman nagsuggest na dito tayo kumain...” It was a waste of money and time. More importantly, I felt sad because I used to love Refinery and now, I will definitely not come back.

Was surprised that our experience is bad considering the high rating here. Two main points: (1) extreeemely long wait time for food, the earliest dish served was probably after 45 mins, the last one at more than an hour - - what was funny is that I ordered waffles and that took them an hour to serve, when I askes why it took so long, they said that they have a long prep time for waffles and pancakes; (2) the waffles are so damn hard - - the taste isn't particularly memorable but the hardness was too much. Another friend mentioned that her food was overly salty. The wait would've been a little okay if the food was worth it but it's not so we just wasted valuable time.

We had drinks here as recommended by my colleague and it's my first time - we had unli drinks, because they have unli wine, unli moscata, unli beer, or unli sangria for affordable prices - I think 699 is the most expensive one, which is pretty affordable considering most restaurants charge aroynd 300-600 for just one glass. I had the moscata, but was a bit sad that they only had one variant - the gold one, because the wine had option for red and white. Nonetheless, it's a great place to chill with friends especially for drinking loads, that won't break your buck.

Multiple items not available. Breakfast is served all day in Greenhills branch but not in this particular one. That seems a little inconsistent to my partner and I.

Service is really really bad. We waited for almost 30 mins for our sausage platter, it takes sooo much time and energy to call the servers, they have this kind of button where you press it so they know if you need something or want the bill but they seem not to mind it. Don’t get me wrong the food and drinks are really good. They just really need to improve their customer service.
