Usually this place has good food but today it was God dam awful. I went at about 3.30pm n ordered a chicken pahadi. What was served to me was an omlette with small pieces of uncooked chicken. I think I was given the leftovers. Never going back there again.

Ordered a few appetizers on a Sunday afternoon. The delivery took an hour as promised.Vegetable pakoras - deep fried vegetables in batter. This was the least satisfying of the dishes. Seemed a bit cold and tasteless. Maybe best had in the resto when it's fresh off the griddle. Paneer Chapli - excellent snack of flat paneer slice in between a roti with tomato and onion garnish.Vegetable Samosas- deep fried puff pastry filled with potatoes and peas. Very tasty with the accompanying mint chutney.Vegetable frankies - hand held stack of vegetables rolled up in a roti. Good!

I was craving for a healthy lunch and going for Corner Tree Cafe which serves mostly Vegan dishes. When it was full, I moved next door here. The growing restaurant market makes it impossible not to have other great choices.Queens experience was satisfying. The service was impressive. The wait staff was very attentive to my needs. They were also very willing to change a fried dish that they mistakingly recommended. I mentioned on the onset that no fried. Dhal Sag Chick was an interesting dish. The green look is made possible by one of my favorite beans, lentil. The chicken though could have used more seasoning so it can rise up. Vegetable Curry was a good pick at Php 278. It hada generous serving of different vegetables placed in delicious curry sauce. Don't forget to add their sour delicious Tamarind sauce. It comes with Mint Yogurt.

I can't even begin to describe how much I love Indian food. It makes my heart sing and I am never not happy after eating anything Indian. This is probably why it makes me sad that I do not know a soul in my social circle who shares the same enthusiasm, hence I always eat Indian food alone. After months of being stuck in Pasig and hoping my Namkeens supply won't ever go out, I was finally able to escape to Makati and I tried Queens Taj Mahal, mainly due to the attractive decor outside. The place is well ventilated, the decor is really interesting, and the food is just great. Their Chicken Tikka Masala and Cheese Garlic Naan was worth every cent. It was flavorful and rich and God's miracle. I also had their Shahi Mathai which was a sweet, flavorful pistachio dessert which was everything I didn't think I needed. I also had their Milk Barfi which was closer to Pastillas and not as great, but was still a solid dessert.I'm not even going to talk about value because Indian food=money well spent. The only thing a little off was their service. Seating and taking the order took a long time. In addition, they gave me the bill before I even started to eat anything which was a little rude.Overall, I would definitely come back again. I just loved their food and I can't wait to try their other menu items.
