Fantastic steak place in San Lorenzo. The interiors look a bit odd because of the mismatched furniture - since this place also doubles as a furniture showroom. Started with Portobello Mushrooms appetizer. Rich and delicious with the earthy flavor of the mushrooms contrasting nicely with the foie infused cheese. We then shared the U.S. Prime Ribeye 500g. Just right for the two of us. Comes with two sides - we chose baked potatoes and garlic pasta. Adding a nice touch, they bring out 5 types of salt that you can rub on your steak. The steak was very tender with a wonderful beefy flavor and was perfectly grilled to our desired medium. We also got the bartender to mix us a couple of good cocktails - vodka/lime and Manhattan.

My Family and I come here often since we are a family of steak lovers. They give you soup of the day when you order their US rib eye steak. The steak comes with side dishes of your choice. They have various salts that go perfectly with the steak. The steak itself is grilled and cooked to perfection as we desired (medium rare). I love the deep fried chocolate mouse. It is one of the best desserts I have ever had. For first timers, it could be pretty difficult to find since there is no sign where they are located but it is worth it, going to this restaurant.

The building of Prime 101 doesn't look much. You have to keep an eye open for the signage to know it's there. It might be one of the best kept secrets to dine and have drinks in this part of Makati. The price range from reasonable to really expensive. It's the steaks and other "prime" ingredients that are the star in this restaurant bar.I got to see the immense marbling of some of their choice steaks from the Matsusaka and the Mayura 9.5++ Wagyu. But they do have some superlative non-steak dishes. Try out their Fried Pork Asado Siopao (Php350), all house made from the bun to the filling (walang sinabi si Krissy dito). You won't regret when you order the Wild Mushroom Foie Gras Dumplings with truffle paste (Php450). We also did get to try the Sisig Dumplings which will be in the menu soon. For main course, get the Chicken in a creamy Porcini sauce (Php470) and also the Beef Tenderloin (300g at Php950).Prime 101 has a very cozy atmosphere which is just screaming that you get some beer or even some single malt whiskey. No matter what you are in the mood for, Prime 101 might be the best place to dine and drink after a long day or week.

A restaurant located in a semi remote place, pasong tamo, which is a must try. They are known for their steaks and they really have a good selection. Too bad I didnt get to take pictures when I was there. We ate their wagyu steak selection and it was just like what we expected.. Good succulent soft, medium well, wagyu steakkkk. The place is also a nice location for a quiet date place. :)

This restaurant is a gem. It is a hole in the wall along Bangkal Makati. Asked by some of my friends as to how I'd describe the place, it is intimate enough to enjoy the amazing food. Each bite you take within the list of appetizers or main course dishes, there is an explosion of flavors that up to now I can still remember. We went there for my grandma'a birthday and the place literally looked like a house. Turns out, almost everything in the space was really ready for selling. Intimate yet homey atmosphere, private and it seems like it should be as the restaurant has a particular market that they are catering to. The seats are around less than 25. There was even a bed! A joke made about it was that if a customer was tipsy, he can just lie down there! But going back, very spacious and lovely place to dine in. we got th@place almost for ourselves too.For the appetizers, we got CAESAR SALAD, WILD MUSHROOM FOIE GRAS DUMPLINGS, OYSTERS, BAKED PORTOBELLO MUSHROOM, AND TRUFFLE SALMON TARTAR. What I liked about each one in general was that it was served one by one. It only made me crave for the next one! Each appetizer was very flavourful and delightful in the mouth. I liked the oysters best. Cheesy and creamy with the right amount of saltiness. The Caesar salad had a particular charm and uniquness to it. And my goodness, Truffle Salmon Tartar was fresh tasting and delicious. Foie Gras dumplings was also something unique but also worth coming back for.For the main course dishes, we got 2 Australian steaks (nah kidding actually im not sure anymore since I was so caught in heaven with my Sea Bass!) AHHH the smell of each dish was making me crazy. We also got 1 kilogram of steak with three different flavours of salt! I swear I am drooling up to now! The sea bass dish was also paired with truffle mushroom that made me close my eyes before taking the first bite. Huhu I was in heaven!!!For dessert, we had aaaah my now new favorite LEMON KAFFIR LIME PIE. which was actually so good. It was drizzled with raspberry sauce and the lime was clearly hinting the whole dessert. Oh my god sobrang sarap. :(No exaggeration. We also had the Fried Chocolate Mousse, the presentation was well done as it was in a dome of hardened caramel sauce! Not to forget the VANILLA CARAMEL CHEESE CAKE which was every bit of bursting flavors of sweetness! Definitely a restaurant I will be coming back to should I have the right amount of cash! :))
