This place is a great discovery! It is just a small unassuming place with some good Indian food.I liked the masala dosa, samosa, paneer butter masala, and the lassi. However, I didn’t like the way they cook their garlic naan. Their naan was too thick and burnt on the outside. I was with an Indian colleague when we went here so he politely requested the Indian cook to prepare new garlic naan but thinner and not burnt. The second batch of naan tasted wonderful!

It’s quaint and very homey. I’m a frequent diner of Swagat so I can say Pooja’s Cafe is not too far in terms of quality, taste, and quantity. In terms of price, some of their dishes are cheaper. Their sweet lassi is a must-try. It’s thick and has the right amount of sweetness.Overall, I enjoyed dining here. I’d definitely frequent this place 😊

I had another craving for Indian food and found this place whilst looking for somewhere to eat near to Makati Medical Center. It’s hidden away around the Chino Roces/Dela Rosa area. It can be described as a very quaint cafe style. It specialises in Southern Indian cuisine, so we decided to try a couple of their combo meals along with some samosas for an appetizer. The Combo 4 (non veg), came with 2 types of Sabji, which are basically vegetable side dishes. It also came with a dal (spiced lentil soup), a really tasty chilli chicken masala type dish along with 5 chipati. The Combo 6 (veg), came with 2 idly (savoury rice cakes), 2 vada (savoury fried onion fritters), Sambar (lentil based stew/soup) and chutney. Both were very filling for 250pesos(Combo 4) and 200pesos (Combo 6), along with the samosas, 150pesos for 4 pieces. I wouldn’t rank it above or even on par with Royal Indian Curry House, but it’s satisfying Indian food at a fraction of the price.

Ordered food twice from Pooja’s cafe but had worst experience each time. Both time the delivery took more than 1.30 hrs .Utapam was burnt first timeSecond time - ever thing taste similar, i guess they used same gravy in each dish. For me it was not authentic south Indian food .

We ordered the chicken chettinad when we received our order it was floating in oil was salted over the top n tastes only of tumeric, we called our server hoping she'll understand our complain stating its toooooo salty she takes it to the kitchen gets it back in a smaller dish with no corrections. Then we called out to the owner and he in a very abnoxious manner speaks to me being loud folding his hands eat the meal for free dont keep calling on me speak to these people (speaking about his south indian staff) and walked away. How can anyone in the food industry humiliate their customers. It was a fault on his cools front for serving salty food. I believe the food department should just shut them down already. Anyone who eats there is bound to become sick.. and im an indian guy who loves good flavors. This was an awful experience.

Pooja's Cafe is a small place tucked behind a commercial building. Food tastes good and pretty authentic. Price is top notch for the quality you get. I'd imagine it being busy during weekdays. Would definitely keep coming back for their Masala Dosa.
