A quaint hole-in-the-wall neighborhood pizza place in Kamagong, Makati, Pizza World offers a rustic-feel, solidly good, no-frills, value-for-money, wide flavor arrays pizzas that can definitely satisfies one's pizza cravings.Unlike some commercial pizza brands where pizzas were cooked in conveyor ovens, Pizza World's pizzas are handmade in the store and cooked in real brick-fire oven. One can see and taste the difference in their pizza crusts - puffy crisp on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. It would definitely be a sin to leave the crust behind when eating it.What's more they have wide selection of interesting pizza flavor combinations that are definitely worth a try. We got to try the Persian Pizza, Greek Pizza, Texas Ranch, Big Boy's Pizza and Pizza World's Special. I loved the Persian and Greek Pizza as it really exuded the flavors of their namesakes. While the pizzas of Pizza World are generous on its ingredients, would have love to have these ingredients especially the meats in bigger cuts to add to the texture of the pizza. Personally, I find texture in food adds more of its fair share in terms of making the food taste great.Aside from pizzas, Pizza World also offers, buffalo wings, pasta, rice toppings and appetizer foods. Got to try their spaghetti special, and it was a dish of its own. I love the cumin flavor and aroma version of the spaghetti, it showcased the Persian heritage of its owner/s. The place while small, is cozy enough for groups to visit and share some pizzas in. One only needs to order and pay at the cashier counter before food is serve. The downside of this place might be the lack of parking if one considers to go there in a car.

This is not your typical pizza. I cannot rave about it enough! Pizza World definitely has other places beat. Love their pizzas! Most especially the Special! Six Cheese!Texas Ranch! & Greek! The pizzas are cooked using a brick oven and that's why I believe it has such amazing flavors! I can rant about it all day, but I suggest you try it yourself! :)

I pass through Kamagong Street everyday on my way to work so I actually saw this place as they began their business.Often, when my cab halts due to traffic, I get to peek into the store and see groups of people, usually young, having fun at the tables. So one afternoon, my sister convinced me to finally go.Place: Quite cozy. They have booths that can usually seat 4 and can probably be moved closer for larger groups. The place is clean, the chairs quite comfy and I especially loved the wall of sayings! I'm not sure how one can park nearby if someone had a car as this place is located along the very busy and one-way Kamagong Street. Food: They offer a variety of pizza flavors and some pasta. My sister and I elected to have their package 2 which was available from 12pm-5pm. It consisted of 1 choice of 8-inch pizza (we had pepperoni), 1 choice of pasta (we had Ham Carbonara) and 2 soda. All for just 349.00! Not bad at all! Serving size for the pasta is good for 2 people. I was a bit hesitant to order the pasta because I'd read the reviews and most of them commented that the pasta was not al dente. It was not the case that afternoon. The pasta was cooked really well...al dente. And the carbonara sauce was delicious. They may want to consider adding a little bit more sauce because it was almost dry when I mixed the serving. But the flavor was there. The pizza...it was the regular pepperoni and cheese. But I loved the dough. It tasted great and fresh. Plus I love it when I bite into the pizza and they don't stint on the cheese. So great job there!Price: Reasonable!I'm pretty excited to come back and try the other pizza flavors.

My supervisor told me this place was new and so we tried it. We ordered Greek Pizza and Mozzarella Sticks. The Greek Pizza had mushrooms, feta cheese, and mozzarella cheese in it. When you take a bite, you'll really taste the feta cheese. It's not your ordinary fast food type pizza. You can tell that it's an original, not one of those thick crusted oily pizzas. The mozzarella sticks are my new favourite! Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Even the interior of Pizza Place was a winner with quotes about pizza on the brick walls. We also saw that they have karaoke nights on Saturdays! I'll give it four stars because I've yet to try their other pizzas. But for now, I highly recommend this.

Pizza World a.k.a World's Best Pizza. LOL. Obviously they have a lot of humour. Or we didn't travel in the same place. I don't know how you can fail a pizza with an oven like the one they claim to have. One thing is certain, I can make better pizza with a micro-wave. I gave it 1.5. Because I may have tried the wrong pizza or the wrong cook. Anyway don't recommend this establishment at all.

I love the taste of their pizza. It is different with other pizza places, specially compared to the franchised ones like yellow cab, pizza hut and dominos. For me most of those pizza's taste the same. Highly recommend the pizzas. They have a variety of other dishes as well, like pasta and rice meals

Crust. What really matters in a pizza. A pizza, from as simple as ham and cheese toppings to as extravagant as lobster and truffles, won't be a really good bite if the crust or dough is not properly made. You might just want to eat the toppings instead. Besides, toppings are common and readily available. With a good crust, you can still be addicted to it even if you are full. For Pizza World, they have mastered the art of making the pizza dough.Pizza World is a relatively new restaurant along Kamagong and Chino Roces Streets in Makati. The owners are Filipinos and of Persian descent, so that is why they make good flatbreads and other kinds of breads. The store is small, but it has a second floor. The owners are there most of the time and are very accommodating, and will guide you on your pizza choices. Parking might just be a bit difficult.Back to the pizza. They really have a good crust. It is thin, yet chewy. Everything is handmade and cooked in a traditional wood fire oven. They offer classic flavors and special ones, even those with an Arabic flavor. The pizzas are very affordable and are made with the freshest ingredients. For this visit, we tried Texas Ranch, Persian, Greek, Big Boy's, and Pizza World Special. My favorite would be the Greek and Pizza World Special because of the unusual ingredients and perfect combination of flavors. The only setback for me are the toppings which are chopped really fine, generous, but fine. The flavor is there but the texture isn't, but I heard this is the Persian way of having pizza, and I respect that.Aside from pizzas, they offer pastas, appetizers, and rice meals. We tried the Spaghetti Special, which is really special because of the addition of cumin. The pasta is fragrant, chewy, and has good flavor. It's not as red as I initially expected, but I ended up devouring everything and don't plan on sharing. The store has a pizza parlor ambiance and the "love for you and pizza" quotes painted on the wall are a good read, especially while you are waiting for your pizza. Looking forward to visiting again soon to try the other flavors. Hopefully, they will accept credit card payments, and have deliveries soon.

Pizza World is a hole in the wall pizza place along the street of Kamagong in Makati. It specializes pizzas, some pastas, and appetizers. We talked to the owner, a half Filipina, half Iranian girl who personally manages the store. She was explaining to us that they want a 'Iranian' feel for their pizza, like cooking it in a brick oven and how they prefer it there. We had 5 different pizzas all in all. The one that stand out to me is the Special, Greek, & Persian. The flavor combination is good, especially the Persian. You can taste the smokey cumin in the beef. It gives it a nice, robust aroma and flavor. My only complaint is all their meat was cut up into small piecese but was generously topped on pizza, even the cheese. It lacked the texture of the meat that was overpowered by the cheese. The most important for me in a pizza is the bread. If you have the best ingredients but failed on the bread, its a failure. They make their own bread, when asked. I like how the rustic, crisp crust forms when it is cooked in a brick oven. It forms some brown blisters on the side plus the chewy bread gives the pizza a character.Spaghetti Special is similar to bolognese but with a nild cumin aroma and flavor. It's my first time to have a spaghetti with cumin that gave it a interesting punch and added depth in flavor. The pasta noodles wasn't al dente and doesn't have that firm texture. (noodles we're not made from 100% semolina flour) Pizza World maybe a small time pizza joint but serves interesting flavors in the area. The place maybe small, but the flavor is wonderful.

Pizza World is a good addition to the growing number of food choices in San Antonio Village. It serves American-Italian food. I was able to try:• Spinach stuffed pizza (209 PHP for 8 inches; good for 1-2 persons) -- It was cheesy good! I liked the taste. It was not too greasy. The spinach was there but not overpowering. The dough, however, was quite chewy at the crust part.• Chicken pesto (169 PHP; good for 2 persons) -- Huge serving! It was tossed in olive oil and pesto paste, then topped with small chops of chicken and a few peanuts. I didn't like it much though. The pasta was not al dente. The taste was nothing unusual. Maybe I'll try other dishes and skip this on my next visit. The place has a good number of seats and it's well-ventilated. Don't miss reading the interesting writeups on the wall about pizza! I find most of them very funny ;pIt opens at 11am. Great venue for lunch or dinner. But parking may be a problem. It sits in front of a busy Kamagong Street so there's no nearby parking lot.
