After a long wait yet quick dinner with Makati peeps at Manam, my website friends wanted to transfer to another place for some dessert. One suggested Pinkberry which was a treat for me, since most branches are pretty far from my home turf. I wanted a small chocolate swirl, just to try a new froyo flavor. It was okay for me, but I think I'll just stick to the original flavor next time. What was weird during our stay was that the A/C wasn't working and it was uncomfortable inside. The bathroom was also dirty but I guess it was because we stayed until closing time on a Monday night... I can't say I really enjoy the experience but I appreciated that they let us stay until late. I'm still going to go back for the original froyo!😁

One of the brands that still survived the frozen yoghurt wars, I tried their strawberry-vanilla and it had the right consistency and texture for me to satisfy me taste buds after a really good meal coming from Chili's.  It even had fresh fruits as well  that  as an add on toppings to the medium sized cup I ordered.  The  frequency card I got  that gave me five stars and I just need five more for me to avail myself of a free yogurt once more. The fresh fruit toppings is what you are gunning for if you want to sample thise complementary taste to this brand.

Despite the regular drizzles and afternoon rainfalls, summer is definitely not over. The sizzling summer heat is here to stay in the form of humidity. Thankfully, one of my favorite cold treats decided to add a few new goodies to their list of offerings and we celebrated its launch last week.  Hello, Pinkberry!

This is one of my only 2 places to get yogurt. I always get the plain yogurt with cheesecake. But I found a new favorite topping called Raspberry Truffle. I hope all branches have them.Sadly, they discontinued the frequency card that gives a free small yogurt with toppings. The promo now is you'll get a pinkberry journal from the new frequency card. Not interested.

I'm glad that Pinkberry, brought to the Philippines by the Rustan's pipz, survived even after the FroYo craze because admittedly it is one of the yoghurt places I frequently go back to because it is enjoyable and the available yoghurt and topping choices.I always get the sourest flavor of yoghurt they have topped with cheesecake, fruits and mochi of course! 😁👌🏼

After we had our dinner last night, I convinced Josh to have dessert with me at Pinkberry! Times have really changed, as I now ask people to have froyo with me. 😝 (The me a year ago would probably tow Josh away from any yogurt place HEHEHE)Keeping one of the reviews I read in mind, I told Josh that we will be able to enjoy two flavors in one cup, so we opted to just get a large cup (Php 275 - with toppings) for sharing. Actually, I even asked the server which size I should get to avail of the side-by-side froyo (two flavors in a cup), and he said that this option is available for ALL sizes! 😍 Wow. This option indeed felt more sulit. 👌Of course, I came because I wanted to try the new Green Tea flavor -- but since Josh is not a big fan of green tea, I let him choose the other flavor, as well as the toppings. We ended up having Green Tea + Strawberry Vanilla Frozen Yogurt (Side by Side), with these 7 toppings: Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Crunch, Mango, Kiwi, Almond Granola, Captain Crunch, and Chocolate Sauce. 🐷We were both happy at the amount (and variety) of toppings we got! The green tea and strawberry vanilla flavors matched well with each other, and while the toppings seem overwhelming, each played a special role in making our froyo taste as good as it did. The green tea flavor was not as strong as I had hoped, but at least, Josh didn't hate it as much (unlike other green tea desserts we've tried that he tagged as too earthy). The strawberry vanilla, on the other hand, had the perfect berry taste that was not too sweet. I especially love Pinkberry's froyo because it has that distinct tartness without being too sour to enjoy. Service was nothing less than great, too! I'd give them 5⭐, but they had dirty and sticky tables that I cleaned on my own. 😟 Had to deduct 1⭐ for it. Sorry, Pinkberry! I still love you, though. 💞#EatDrinkSplurge

My favorite yogurt ice cream EVER!! I have been fond of trying out yogurt ice cream shops and this is so far THE best I've ever tried! I even ate this when I was in the US.

The place was right next to where I had lunch, and before entering the restaurant I knew I wanted Pinkberry after. They had a few flavors available and a variety of toppings to offer, however I wasn’t pleased with the ice cream part itself as it didn’t seem ready. It was melted before I had even left the place.

Decided to try out their Light Milk Ice Cream, a bit too sweet for my taste, but its ok, I will try to add toppings next time to balance the sweetness of it.

Their yogurts are the best! There are at least 4-5 flavors available to choose from and they change it from time to time - monthly if Im not mistaken. They have a wide variety of toppings - wafers , sweets, fruits etc. And what’s good about being a regular customer? You get a stamp card and a free cup of yogurt after your 10th purchase ;-)
