Updated Sept 2019:Updated rating to 5 because I really love Pepper Lunch! Been coming back to this branch and the servers are almost always pleasant and helpful and food ia consistently good. This visit we ordered 2 The Giant Steaks at ₱699 each and they were perfect! Upgraded one of the sets by adding ₱160 to get a drink, a kani salad (fave!) and a matcha vanilla ice cream.Original:First off, I didn’t give a perfect score because they forgot to serve my ice cream for dessert which was already paid for on my second visit/time to this branch. Whether or not I should have been the one to remember it, I’m still bummed about it. Maybe they can do something about it, like having a sign or number on the table if dessert is still missing? It’s a semi self-service restaurant where you order and pay at the counter and then they serve your food at the table so anyone is bound to forget, right?So anyway moving on, the rest of the almost-perfect rating is because of the following:1. Love the taste. My favorite is the classic beef pepper rice. Help yourselves with the sauces on the table, they make the meal more enjoyable. My favorite is the Honey Brown Sauce.2. Quick, no frills, and affordable but quality everything from the food down to the utensils and the sizzling plate (it’s not your ordinary fast food sizzling plate). The classic beef pepper rice is only ₱200+. When you want to splurge, they have steaks ₱600-₱700.3. Now this is the real reason why I was excited to review it here in website) even though it’s been around for so long and so many branches already that I’m sure many have tried it), to let you know that SULIT IMO ung NEW Combo B for ₱160you get a 16oz drink and ice cream (un nga ung nakalimutan iserve after our meal on our second visit) and your choice of soup, fries and salad. I highly recommend you get the salad because the salad itself costs ₱120 and it’s a good salad, I normally order this (kani salad is my favorite) separately every time we eat there (it used to be called shake!shake! in a plastic cup container which they have transferred to a plate to help the environment by lessening use of plastic, I’ve heard). It looks like and I confirmed with the cashier that the salad included in the combo is the regular size and not a smaller portion which is what restaurants normally do (so plus points for Pepper Lunch for really giving REAL value & actual savings to customers who get that Combo set). TIP: Yun lang talaga, don’t forget to claim your ice cream after your meal kahit busog ka na and might forget it. 😅Pepper Rice Hack: Steaks and some of the combos don’t come with pepper rice, only plain white rice. Don’t need to pay for upgrade, what I do is make my own pepper rice. Dump the rice on the sizzling plate (make space and move the meat to the side) so the rice sucks up some of the oil/butter from the plate, generously top with pepper (available on the table with the sauces) and mix in together with the veggies included in your set like corn, green beans and/or bean sprouts / togue, add sauce garlic steak and/or honey brown and MIX MIX MIX.

Great food and excellent service. The place is a little bit crowded since some tables are near to each other. It is also a bit smoky since there are no exhausts for the sizzling food.

The food is consistent on all pepper lunch I guess. But this specific branch deserves a 10 for Customer service! They are mindful of our needs and have provided us even beyond what we expected and needed.
