For the whole 2016,I used to had my lunch here bout 2 times a week, then to once a week and now only i had no other options. It's not bout the food, it's how they do business. Portion used to be BIG, then they shrunk the size...and that's ok! My main point is thier chilli paste that made me glued to this restaurant. Then today..i had enough as they told me chilli is limited! I'm boycotting them for good

Too small for the price.Extra Tokwa't Baboy costs 50 pesos for a thin slice of tokwa and 3 slices of baboy.Beef and Shanghai: Beef is too sweet. Shang hai is okay. But the shanghai dip tastes like hot sauce diluted in water. And the serving size would qualify for a kiddie meal.Free hot soup is colder than my ex's heart. No kid.The staff didnt even proactively offered me my free drink when I actually paid for one.TLDR: Expensive. Small serving size. Doesn't taste good (except for the shanghai)

I don't know what's wrong but most of the food I tried here are either salty or full of MSG.  I remembered I liked  their Banana con Jielo but that's it.    Servers are polite here by the way.  They will tend to your needs though this is a self service restaurant.

Who can say no to Pares?! Having so many pares brands I've tried like Kumpares, Bestfriends, and our suking Pares-on-the-go to satisfy my pares cravings even at the wee hours of the night, I always find myself coming back to one of my favorite pares joint - and that's Pares Retiro!I usually go here for lunch since it's quite near from my former workplace in Makati. Beef Pares is obviously the only reason to be here; generous serving, tender beef, and flavorful sauce. Aside from my usual Pares meal, I also like their Lechong Kawali. It may be a bit too oily for my liking but it's a pretty solid hit! Sobrang lutong! 😍 #BestFoodForCheatDay

The food qty or serving is not consistent. I ordered lechon kawali when they just opened in RCBC and the serving was huge. After the few mos I ordered the same and I was disappointed. The staff are not so attentive. There are instances recently that the serving was better though. Hope they are consistent.

I thought this place is like the real authentic Paresan in Retiro/N.S. Amoranto...😔 when my friend encouraged me to try it here.I am familiar with the flavor and the serving and this is different from Retiro. Not sure with the sisig my friend had ordered.🤔🤔🤔Well, the pares or should I quote beef stew they have is quite ok... But cost a bit pricey as well.Though the kitchen crew were nice and hospitable as one of the guys served our bottled water and took our pic👍💐

Disappointed of everything. 😞From getting my order to the amount of food served. 💔I ordered a Big baby meal which consist of their famous pares, siomai and a drink. I got some change with my 200 bill. After me waiting for almost 15mins my food finally arrived but with no Siomai. I asked the waitress like thrice abt it and told me during the 3rd time that I only ordered Pares. I lost my receipt so I couldnt defend myself. Annoyed of what happened, I muched whatever food I had at that time. The beef they have is like just a few slices and I mean really few. Couldnt imagine paying 155php for that. The taste is good. It's the serving that annoyed me most.Oh and yeah, everything is self service. Even the water and utensils are self service.

Their breakfast promo is at 40% off from 5 AM to 9 AM, until Nov 16. Serving size is quite okay, and the busogsilog meal is very much worth its price at 99 (originally at 165)

I ordered Beef Pares last night (December 6). I was the only customer that time so I thought the food will arrive shortly. I waited for 30 minutes just for a Beef Pares! The crew are not attentive. They only served my food when I told them I am waiting for about half an hour. The staff apologized to me and I overheard that they forgot my order because they are busy chatting!! Poor customer service. Food is great though.

VERY POOR SERVICE. I waited 20 minutes for an order of pancit pares and take note, I am the only customer.Staffs are not attentive and are always chatting with each other. Serving size are not consistent as well. The only consistent on this place is the poor service.
