Went for a dinner at the pancake house today. We got a mango shrimp salad, waffle with peaches, tacos and roastbeef.The mango and shrimp salad was fine in taste, and there was nothing really wrong with it, the problem was that there was so much salad, but only 4 shrimps and 5-6 mango pieces in the entire thing. And it was just so sad. Instead of it being a mango and shrimp salad, it was salad with a hint of shrimp and mango in it. The tacos we got were much better. To me the crunch was good, the taste and balance was overall good, though one of them had a bit too much meat for me personally.The roastbeef was tender and tasty, and the rice and salad on the side also did the job fine.The waffle at the end was probably the best part of the meal, tasty and fresh with the peaches on top. We got the syrup exchanged with maple and that did the job very well. Very tasty and a good finishing dish.House coffee was good and the juice was also fine. Iced tea was as expected, far from great though.Also the pricing was also a welcome sight, with the end bill being under 1500 total.

Tried the Salisbury steak, I can say that its so delicious, the meat is tender and I love its crunchiness because of the fried garlic with matching mushroom gravy.

Comfort food it is! This branch is located inside Waltermart Makati. The place gives you a homey kind of feeling, it is roomy and the staff are very attentive and courteous. The quality of food stays is always at its best (serving them fresh and hot) and still has the best spaghetti! I always order their hamburger steak plate, which to me is very satisfying and affordable ;-)

Back to another Pancake House experience. The person I met here for a business meeting chose the place. I understand why. They have a private room for it. The overall area is also spacious. I had the Salisbury Steak and got to try some of their Fish Rolls. The former was decent, it was just had mushy feels. The latter had a significant portion but it was quite oily. It’s nice to have other items in Pancake House as I am more accustomed to the classics they serve. They also have the newly launched Maple Glazed Chicken.

I had dinner here tonight after doing my groceries. One of my favorite "combo meals" is the hamburger steak special set. consists of half order of spaghetti, hamburger steak with gravy and buttered corn and carrots. It also comes with their house blend iced tea. This is a pretty good combination meal, very complete with drinks already. I just wish that the drinks is "upgradable" to a refillable iced tea. But all's good anyway. Had to wait for 15 minutes for them to serve the food. I really love the spaghetti sauce here, though a bit oily, but has a very meaty taste and not as tomatoey as some other spaghettis out there. The burger is big and thick, cooked all the way through and comes with this gravy that is really rich. I can eat this all day everyday.  I am really glad that the taste of the food here has been maintained thru the years. and food is not just about taste sometimes but is also about the memories you have with it.  Pancake house will always be that kind of place for me.

I really love their fried chicken. Not only it is served in a very hefty portion but it is also very flavourful. I love that it looked and taste fresh unlike others which seemed recooked for so many times (you can recognize this by checking the meat color which looks more brownish than usual and was hard to chew). Try their Blueberry Pancakes too (also served in very large portion).

One of the coziest restaurants here in Waltermart as there are only limited number of fastfood chains here because it is not really a big mall. I really really appreciate their fried chicken recipe here and the fact that it always looked freshly cooked is really a plus.

This place is the epitomy of coziness. I like that Pancake House maintains that in all their branches. I particulary like their signature orange color which is so pleasing to the eyes. I always like their Blueberry Pancakes.

My reviews are based on my own experiences therefore; they are factsI already made reviews for different branhces. So I will just cite the highlightsThis branch is kind of secluded, for me at least. I think it's also located where the quiet stalls are in the mall. So I like that.And yes again, I fell for fthe ried chicken. Never say die to fried chicken.I remember that 1 of their staff was hard selling their orange card to us even after giving 2 rebuttals.Calma lang
