Ever since high school, my friends and I have always loved going to Pancake House, mainly because their service is great and it's convenient (Greenbelt isn't so far from our school lol). I've decided to try it again! The servers were enthusiastic to welcome me and take my order despite having a lot of customers; however, it took them almost 30 minutes to prepare my food. It was a wrong decision to come here.Ordered for 2pcs. classic pan chicken (8/10: Their chicken, very consistent. Forever yummy with their signature gravy.) & potato salad (7.5/10: Their potato salad is more like an onion salad! )while my mom & brother got the roast beef special (7/10: "it tastes bland") & seafood gambero (5/10: "there was too many sauce & is not worth it"). Nonetheless, overall experience was not so good. Will probably go back and enjoy their pancakes if I'm in the mood for it. :)

Tried Pancake House' Banoffee Pancake and it was so good. It looks like a breakfast-dessert kind of combination. The good thing is, it only has an exact taste of sweetness that made the food so delicious. 💯

It’s another unplanned visit to Pancake House! It seems like Pancake House is becoming one of my go-to places nowadays. Haha.I visited Greenbelt 1’s branch with my sister and since this is our first meal of this day, both of us wanted to eat rice! During our visit, Pancake House had a 390 Peso promo which includes two rice meals (selected signature favorites of Pancake House) and two glasses of iced tea. This is actually a good promo because one person will spend 260 Pesos (on the average) for a rice meal and a drink here. With that, we availed this promo; I got the Pan Grilled Pork Belly. I think is one of the newest additions to Pancake House’s menu and it has recently become my favorite dish (well, one of my favorites) here. When my order arrived, the pork belly looked a little burnt and I got a little scared to try it. Despite its appearance, it did not taste burnt in any way. Unfortunately, the meat had little to no taste on its own hence the gravy helped a lot in the overall taste of the dish. It also felt a little sinful because you can sense the oil as you bite into it. In terms of texture, I liked how the pork belly was so soft and easy to slice. The iced tea that came with the meal was a little sweet but that’s okay.

I had their smoked golden tinapa and I was disappointed. The tinapa was overcooked, overfried which left the fish dry, the worse part is that the fish didnt have much of a belly which really gives flavor to the dish. The only slight saving grace was the black forest pancake, it was a dessert that would make you say, why havent I thought of that? The simple concept was substituting the sponge cake with light chocolate pancakes, and their experiment worked.

When we don't want to cook or don't want to think, Pancake House becomes our default restaurant. I have very fond childhood memories of eating their spaghetti, usually during dates with my dad. It was a favorite growing up and remains to be so until now. The House Special set will always be my order since it has my loves: spaghetti, taco (which I turn into a salad), and the pan fried chicken. Always made the same comforting way that I enjoy.❤️
