For quality steak, Outback has been our go-to places when we’re craving for some and until now, they never fail to deliver such salivating steaks. Good news is that there are newest dishes aside from steak that can be availed anytime of the day. Sirloin Salad (Php629) – Our usual salad has a premium topping with the well flavored, tender USDA Sirloin steak as topping. Who would not be indulging this dish? That medium rare steak is perfect to the crispiness of the greens and its vinaigrette.

For the longest time I’ve always thought nothing is as Australian as outback steak houses. I was surprised to learn that what I’ve associated with Aussie Icons such as Koalas boomerangs and wallabies originated where LeBron took his talents the first time he left Cleveland. Though it’s not entirely smoke and mirrors for Outback, it was indeed founded by Aussie food enthusiasts who wanted to merry the Rugged novelty of the outback with superb American dining experience.Their branch in Glorietta has been an iconic corner place holder since time in memorial. It’s as Historic as the mall itself and I have been sleeping under a rock to have only dined there recently via an invite. To put it simply, experience was superb. Let me tell you more about the dishes that tickled my fancy during my visit. 1.) Black Pepper Crusted Steak - The saying save the best for last doesn’t apply to a guy with an EQ of an 8 year old like me so I’m starting with the mains! This was the highlight of my meal there. It’s tender, medium rare (depending on your taste) rib eye steak crusted with pepper corn and drizzled with cream sauce. The sharp taste and texture of the crusted pepper corn created a well balanced contrast with the juicy medium rare steak. The cream sauce was literally just icing to the already sinful roasted slab of meat. 2.) Sirloin Salad - A dish for the gastronomic hypocrite who thinks a little steak won’t ruin the calorie count of a salad. It won’t if it’s a few measley pieces, but these are slabs of juicy and tender meat we’re talking about ( I’m not complaining though). I Absolutely love this dish. 3.) Crispy Volcano Shrimp - Again, peeled shrimp with the head taken off is exactly what your dietician recommends, dipping it in batter and deep frying it to a savory crisp will perhaps change his/her mind. Drenching it with Sri Racha sauce just adds a totally different layer to the flavor and texture of the appetizer.4.) Fish Tacos - Proof that outback is really an Australian themed American restaurant (an excellent one at that). This is corn tortilla stuffed with grilled fish, mango salsa and cabbage slew with kick of avocado pico. It’s light, refreshing and yet flavorful.

The kind of trusty old-school go to for a good steak fix. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Servings were hefty. You couldn't go wrong with a classic like Outback Steakhouse.

FOOD was superb! We finished everything on our plate. I love the complimentary honey wheat bread and the creamy butter! Yummm! Steak was good, we should've just had it at medium rare rather than well done, tendency with the well done the meat turns hard and noy easy to chew. But everything was good, the salad, the soup and oh! the pepper crust salmon! Drooling. PLACE was big and spacious except for the way the coaches were arranged or maybe it was it's built. It felt so crammed when sitting in one of those. You have to make push it back to fit in. And it should be the one with the pub and smoking area at the second floor and the restaurant at the first floor. After all this is a place to eat. SERVER was verypatient and polite. She was very hands on with us. She always refills our glass and made sure we were comfortable

The first time I tried Outback was actually in South Korea because we were drawn by the advertisement that we saw near our hotel.  At that time, there were lobsters included in their set meal.  This was way back 2011, I think when we first went to South Korea.  Fast forward to today, my first time to try Outback here in the Philippines and it didn't disappoint.

Been dining here since I was a kid and the bread is still as tasty as it is.Our favorites are the kookabura wings, toowoomba pasta, and their grilled porkchops. The wings were fried perfectly with blue cheese dips on the sides. The pasta which was a white sauce fettucine with shrimps and herbs on top were also yummy.Shrimps were also crispy. The sauce that came with the porkchop which was a bit spicy was also great.Kids can also dine for free (maximum of 2) when 2 main entree are ordered.Overall, the quality of the food is still the same over the years however we notice the hospitality of the staff were deteriorated. Will definitely come back again for the love of their bread!

We requested ti split the food when it was served and the waiter stared and pause and seems not to welcome the request. We just did it ourselves. When we asked for the bill, we had to donit 2x bec the first one we requested from did not endorse it. Hope they can improve their service. The manager can yry to check the staff because there were not som many customers anyway.
