I recently tried the Katsudon of this place and I have to say that I loved it. The pork was very tender and the breading was just perfect for me.  There was a slight sweetness to it that I loved.  For the first time I a while I actually finished a katsudon dish. Rice and all!

Their black tiger prawn is something else. It really is the biggest in town.  Their ebi tempura is one of the best I have tried in a long time. The high price is definitely worth it. I will definitely go back here with my family in tow.

As a salad lover I liked their Tori teriyaki salad very much. The sweetness of the chicken complemented the greens very much. I did not feel deprived at all. I also tried their crazy maki. The one in Yuujin is still the best but this one was close.

This restaurant makes ramen in an unconventional way. The ingredients are sauteed first and then poured over a bowl of noodle and soup. This is manifest in the gyu to kimchi ramen in which beef slices, kimchi and other veggies are cooked first a la "ginisa" and overlain on the noodle. Though unexpected and atypical, the ramen still tastes good, an inventive approach to be different from the usual ramen that is served in other Japanese restaurants.

Oki oki at A. Venue is the single worst Japanese restaurant I have ever been to. I made the mistake of trying it again hoping that the first time was just a fluke. Nope, still terrible. Absolutely the worst Japanese you can find on the planet. Shame on you Oki Oki for making yummy, easy to make Japanese food terrible.

I love japanese food. Despite my inablity to use chopsticks (it's sad, I know), I've always had a liking to this cuisine even when I was younger. So when my friends asked if I wanted some japanese food for dinner, I couldn't say no.I've never been to Oki Oki nor have I heard of it. But my friends have been and they say that they have really really good food. The place was pretty spacious. The mall was about to close but I could still spot a few people coming in for a meal. I even spotted a japanese dude so, I was thinking that this place could serve some legit japanese food.I was so hungry that time so, I got the Ten Don. I also got to try the Spicy Maguro Salad, Gyoza and the Spicy Shake Maki. Took a while for the food to be served but when I saw 'em, portions were very generous. The Ten Don was so-so for me. I didn't like the tempura sauce that came with it as much. Gyoza was also an okay for me. What I did like was the Maguro salad and the Shake maki. The salad was fresh and the dressing was just right for me. Plus, they weren't selfish with the tuna. The maki was also very good. I haven't had good maki in a while and, this is the kind that I see myself going back to Oki Oki for.Kinda pricey if you ask me but, I'm satisfied bc of the portions. Might come back but, probably just for their maki. It's not a place that I'd immediately think of going back if I'm in the area.

Haven't taken the time yet as of this writing to determine how many percent of my food trips are Japanese. I do have a feeling it's in my top 5 cuisines. In the Philippines, it might be in the top as well.Oki Oki is similar to popular chain Teriyaki Boy. They serve your usual line of Japanese. They serve a number of kinds from Ramen, Rice Bowls, Sushi, Teriyaki, etc. I've been here twice and it's a decent place for Japanese cravings. Price points are respectable vis a vis quality and quantity of food. Two of their must try include their Tofu Steak and Chicken Teriyaki.

Their Yaki Udon dish is worth trying... Satisfying taste. The Katsudon set meal is good too. The owner of the resto was very nice and courteous to us. Nice cool and colorful wall art by the way.😋
