It's a Grand website Meet Up last April 29, 2017 headed by Foodgrammer.ph and organized by Food Society in Nomads Refuge + BBQ.Nomads Refuge + BBQ is a Modern Taiwanese Bar & Restaurant that offer a do it yourself (DIY) Mongolian rice bowl. The restaurant is situated in Bel-air, Makati. We had some flat lay and styling workshop in the alfresco area before we headed inside Nomads to try some Taiwanese dishes.👳🏾‍♀️Hainanese Rice Stuffed Chicken Wings for Php280.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5👳🏾‍♀️Wagyu Cubes for Php235.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5👳🏾‍♀️Braised Pork Belly Bao with Crispy Pork Skin for Php295.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5👳🏾‍♀️Nomads Orange Chicken for Php225.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5👳🏾‍♀️Classic Mongolian for Php225.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5👳🏾‍♀️Boba Fetish (Matcha Lambanog) for Php240.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5For me, you can never go wrong for Wagyu Cubes, it's really good even it was cold already. The wagyu was so tender. And "masarap". Another favorite was the Hainanese Rice Stuffed Chicken Wings. I really like the flavor especially the rice inside the chicken wings and the ginger sauce... yum! 👅 #ilovetoeatph 😃❤️

Found along Jupiter Street in Makati, this restaurant was born out of the love of Mongolian DIY Bowls of four friends. They haven't really found a good restaurant to satisfy their cravings after they have tried the authentic in Taiwan prompting them to open their own (fun fact: Mongolian BBQ originated from Taiwan). Offering Taiwanese Street Food, Unlimited DIY Mongolian Bowl and affordable drinks and cocktails, Nomads BBQ + Refuge is open from lunch until around 2AM. Perfect place to eat, drink and chill, it can even be your after drinking session refuge for comfort food!

We recently attended an event here at Nomads and I really wasn't expecting anything since I haven't been there. Place was a little easy to miss since they have a small sign, but they are near a kabab place so you can have that as your marker.I really enjoyed the food they served us specially their Baos, wagyu cubes and stuffed hainanese chicken! You should try their Baos specially their Salmon bao, soft bao and the salmon was perfect.Their wagyu cubes melts in your mouth! I'm sure you will not be satisfied with just 1 stick of it 😋Stuffed Hainanese chicken really amazed me not only for the taste but also the level of difficulty and commitment in stuffing the chicken wing with rice.. You just have to try it so you can understand what I'm trying to convey.

Thanks to the project of Inky Dario of FoodgrammerPh, I got to visit Nomads, a go to Mongolian barbecue stop in Makati, also offering recreated Taiwanese street food. Did you know Mongolian was made popular in Taiwan? This statement was a revelation on this food event also organized by Food Society. Here we also learned more about food styling. It was headed by SpoonsAroundThe World, Neil. Cua Pao is one of their stars here and it is evident with their range of toppings you can sandwiched with it. We got to try the mushy tasty Salmon and Braised Pork Belly with Crispy Pork Skin. The latter was good but the too much fat in them made it unpopular. Nomads Orange Chicken was delicious. It's citrusy sweet vibe in every bite was its strongest feature. I also liked the light fried rice and green leafy vegetables in its bowl, a complete meal. We got to try Wagyu sticks in this event, not sure if they carry that or not. It's a much better wagyu than what other restaurant offers. It is seasoned naturally, soft and juicy. I also had the Hainanese Rice Stuffed Wings. I like how it was novelty presented. Its taste however were nothing too special. Yes

Nomads Barbeque Refuge is one of the hidden gems we discovered while exploring Poblacion. We love the place so much we decided to share it to fellow foodies by way of an event.April 29, 2017 - Meet Up and Eat Up with FoodGrammerPh organized by my homies. Think of this as an event to bring foodies together. They specialize in Mongolian fare and when they meant the adjective to the core. Man, the food is undeniably good, careful created and all of the adjectives synonymous to delicious.Hainanese Chicken. This dish made me giddy the moment i took my first bite. There is hainanese rice inside the chicken!!!! How awesome is that? I dont wanna ho into detail on how awesome this dish is. I dare you to try it and see for yourself.Salmon Bao. Nomads set the standard for baos. This is wickedly good! What made this good? Simple, it all comes down to the bao! What they use is soft and has the right texture. And oh, i love Salmon. Orange Chicken, Duck Noodles were served during the event and everyone has nothing but praises. It goes to show that Nomads is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Mongolian Fare.Peace Out!Reich
