Food- 3/5Service- 1/5Location-4/5Cleanliness-1/5Price-3/5If you are craving for an Indian food, you may want to reconsider your options and try other restaurants. Their food is good but the service sucks. I didn't seem to understand why those staff waiters would not write down the orders if they can't memorize them. It only works on a fine dining restaurant. Well, if your staff has a good memory, then fair enough. But clearly, the answer is no. When we ordered, the waiter just listened to us. And when he tried to repeat it for me, he missed something and you have to repeat your order all over again just to make sure that he'll get it right. There's also this guy who's so annoying. He doesn't smile. He hated his job so much that he didn't bother to give us a poker face. He is also singing in the restau as if he's the only person in that restau. We didn't mind as we wanted to enjoy our dinner. Besides on the service, sanitation is my concern at this restaurant. The toilet is not clean at all. Better go to the mall restrooms. I wonder if they wash their cloth place mats on the dining tables? Because their dining style when we came in was the plates were turned down/reversed on those place mats. Why they even do that? On what purpose? It's not hygienic at all! Food- On the positive side, their Chicken Tikka Masala paired with Naan bread is delicious. However, the second Naan bread they gave us was burnt and you can really tell that it's not fresh and reheated only. I also recommend their Biryani and Tandoori Prawns. The location for me is pretty good because it's the nearest Indian restau in Makati area.Price is a bit expensive for an Indian food.As I've said, food is good but the service sucks. Food satisfies your inner 'Indian food lover' but the service is a no-no for me. Their cleanliness is also a major turn off for me. I hope this restaurant will improve in terms of service and cleanliness. And maybe one day, we'll come back and give this restaurant another chance.

I have visited Manila 4 years before and still I remember New Bombay. Before visiting Manila I made a list of Indian food joint in n around Makati City. But I really loved food of New Bombay. It seems to be little expensive when I compare price with India but I feel providing tasty Indian food outside India ,a little pricey is okayI miss their onion salad served with beautiful small lemon( similar kind not available in India)

The first thing hitting you when you enter is the pleasantly ornate ambience - the tables and chairs are gilded with faux gold, a TV screen is blaring Indian bollywood. The food choices come in a wide variety - you'd be lost if you're not acquainted with Indian cuisine.Had the Palak Paneer (PHP 295) and Chicken Tikka Masala (PHP 295), with rice (PHP 45) (bad idea, GO FOR THEIR BREAD AS SIDING). I like how you're asked for the spiciness level of the dishes. When they came out, the dishes were creamy and mellow. I liked a little bit more punch in my Indian food, but these will do for now.The huge drawback is the priciness of the place. Indeed, you will find this place unusually pricy for its fare. I think I would have loved this place more if the dishes didn't cost more than PHP 200.

One of the first and best Indian restaurant I have been in Manila and I must say the food here is awesome. I have been in Manila for 2 weeks and this place has been my daily go to place for food. I have tried various dishes and I have always loved the taste which is very authentic. Also something which I have noticed is everytime I have been to this branch of restaurant, there are more non Indian customers than Indian customers in their restaurant.

The resto maybe famous, but needs more investment in the ambience. The food they serve is not very high standard tasty. The starters are excellent. But tandoori items and kebab are not so delicious. Briyani is fine but the quantity is too little for the price. Overpriced. Only best thing is the starters.

The food is pretty average. Heard from friends it used to be great. The advantage this place has is its location.Instead of the variety in menu if they can fix the quality, can do a lot better for sure.

Went here to pick up Chicken Makanwala and Chapatis for our dinner. The butter chicken was creamy, tasty with just the right spiciness. While there we had Mango Lassi and Chaas (buttermilk). These were good too.

I was craving for Indian food and decided to try New Bombay. The Vegetable Samosas were the only item that we enjoyed during this meal. The Chicken Tikka Masala was so bland, bordering on tasteless. Also, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen Chicken Tikka Masala with grated cheese on top, and I grew up having Indian food. It wasn’t even good cheese. They used cheap Eden style cheese. The Mutton Rogan Josh was also bland. These dishes should be bursting with flavours and spices, but all they did was disappoint. We asked for both dishes to come spicy, but they were mild at best. The naan bread was okay, but also not the quality I’m used to. The servers were very inattentive. We had to almost beg for their attention. Tip:If you want Indian food and are thinking of going here, save your money and go to Royal Indian Curry House instead.

Went to this Indian restaurant on late Thursday night, and it was pretty much crowded with Indians. Ambience is quite similar to dhabhas in India, with Bollywood movies playing on the screen.Decided to order Bombay special Dal, mix vegetable curry, rice and garlic naan.Everything was just ok.The dal lacked the Indian flavours, while mix veg was properly cooked, but again felt a little more usage of coconut in the gravy.I have heard a lot about this place, so going to come here again to give a second try to other options. Hoping to be good !

The last time I had Indian food was months ago. It’s not the cuisine I normally crave for. I do like its complexities, each of their dishes having multiple ingredients and spices. I got the Tandoori Biryani. It was both filling and delicious. It’s nice that it came with ample chicken and loaded up with heat. The Vegetable Samosa, on the other hand, was nothing special. It does become more interesting when you add mint yogurt or tamarind dip to it. When was the last time you had Indian cuisine? If you haven’t had it in a while, I suggest a trip here for an interesting food experience.
