I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. I personally love their "The President" angus rib eye steak. It is definitely a "must try" for steak lovers.The last time I visited, I ordered their Oyster Rockefeller and it was not good at all. I was actually surprised because that wasn't the first time for me to order that dish and it is usually pretty decent. Unfortunately, they're not consistent as it wasn't good this time around.

Over time I think Myron's Place's quality has been degrading. I think Myron's versus Zuni? Neither really claims the crown of the Best Restaurant in Greenbelt.

Went to this restaurant on a whim on Father's Day by myself as I am here on business. Took 10 minutes after being seated at a table before anyone would give me a menu. After that, another 10 minutes to flag a waiter down to take my order. After that, 25 minutes later sitting with free water and a tiny loaf of bread did I finally give up and leave this horrible establishment. I ordered a burger and an old-fashioned and neither ever came. This is pretty damn shameful.

Great place for something special. Had the Reuben Sandwich, thought it was good but I think it would've been better if the bread to meet ratio were better.

My hubby & I decided to try this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place is cozy and it's the perfect place for a date. We started our meal with their hot assorted oysters, though the oysters were fresh, i think the shells were recycled. Then they served us a chocolate flavored bread with butter which was yummy. We had their ceasar's salad which was prepared beside our table. For our entrée, we ordered their famous President Steak, it was cooked medium rare and the sauce sealed the deal. It was an intimate night and dinner was truly divine...

This day my boss invited to treat me and my officemate to lunch. So I was asked where I would want to eat? Then I asked back, would Myron's Place be in your budget? The answer was yes. So Myron's Place it was.Checking out the menu we ordered what we thought would best suit a party of three. So we ordered what was called The President. On the menu the description was '500 Grams of Us Certified Angus Beef Rib Eye, charred on the outside and perfectly juicy on the inside, with juices collecting at the bottom of a tilted warm plate. And when it was served to us, every little bit of what I read on the menu was true. It was so good. It costs P2400 per order and it was already good to share between the three of us. If you think about it, it's Angus Beef goodness at the right price. We opened our course with Bushman Bread and Butter. Then we had The Cream of Pumpkin Soup while our boss had the salad. Then during main course we had Steak Rice along our order of The President. So good that we even ordered extra. And for dessert we ordered the Old Fashioned Bread Pudding with Dark Caramel Ice Cream and Rum Sauce. We had it to share while I ordered my usual Cafe Mocha to boot. Needless to say our boss' lunch treat turned out quite well.Myron's Place serves excellent food. Their staff is courteous and attentive. The ambience is elegant and relaxing with a good view of the greenery at Greenbelt Park. Quite good for one on one meetings and meet ups.

The spicy gambas here is one of the best I have ever tried. Maybe it because their shrimps are high quality. For my main course I had their Duet of Bacon-Wrapped Petite Angus beef medallions and grilled shrimps.  It was a quality dish through and through.  The beef was tender and soft and cooked to perfection.  The fact that it had bacon is the icing on the cake.

There is only one Myron I know, he's a man that used to serve in my church. The reason i remember him was because he had a low, booming voice to match his tall stature and was very tisoy. He also looked a little bit like Sam the Eagle From the Muppets. (If you don't know, then look it up!) When the restaurant opened, he was the person that came to mind. Well whaddya know? It was named after him. True story, not fibbing. We were a group of eight. It was a celebratory dinner for one of the successful events. Hence, wine was ordered. Two bottles of their cheapest house wine at P850 apiece. The cab sauv tall horse from South Africa was served. It is quite expensive as i know how much this costs if you buy it outside. But it is a restaurant after all. Do not be fooled when it's a celebratory dinner, the topics were still of work. Gaaah. I'm thankful I got a free dinner, but kinda unsure if i should've gone. Orders were:Spicy gambas, angus beef salpicao and baked oysters rockefeller for starters. Two orders each as the servings were just good for three people. 🍤 i expected the gambas to be spicier. Was looking for a kick but none came. It was also topped with some sprouts (or was it parsley?) that i didn't find match the shrimp. 🐃 i found the angus beef a bit tough, but the garlic was just right. 🐚 ok i know this icon is a conch shell but i couldn't find one of a bivalve. Their oysters rockefeller were spot on tasty. Yay!!🍲 soups and/or salads were encouraged and i got the most sinful soup - french onion. Serving was quite generous and i liked that just the right amount of cheese was in top. It didn't feel like it was the star of the show but meshed well with the rest of the characters of the soup. Now, Myron's is known for their steak - The President. What it is is 500 grams of US Certified Angus Beef rib eye. We also had two orders of that was cooked medium well. I'm not good with steaks but this was certainly spectacular. It's presented on a tilted bowl so you can see the drippings. The coarse sea salt on top makes a whole lot of difference to the flavor and the french beans that come along with it make you feel that it's healthier to eat. There are a couple of options for sidings, we chose the Myron's rice. Since the steak comes with one side dish, we ordered extra. I think that the rice contains some fat drippings of the steak. Additional indulgence for you. You're welcome!! You always cap off a dinner like this with dessert. Your choice shouldn't fail you because it's going to be the last thing you taste before you leave the restaurant and you might instantly regret sealing the night with that failed sweet. We had ordered the old fashioned bread pudding with dark caramel ice cream and rum sauce. This was a mouthful to read and also the best-seller. Who were we not to take the server's word? I would have to say he was right. This was perfect and i attribute it all to the rum sauce which ties everything thing in! The warmth of the pudding against the cold caramel ice cream already makes for a good combination. Topping it off with the rum sauce elevates your senses quickly and livens up the dessert. Everyone agreed. With happy stomachs and a little inebriation, we a walked back to work. Yes, there was still so much to do. You indulge to torture yourself after.

Steaks were good~ We ordered the president's steak and Diane steak, though the winner is really The President hands down.. The Caesar Salad that was prepared table side tasted great too.. Will dine here again soon.. ?

The steak was cooked perfectly. I like that they make your cesar dressing in front of you and asked to taste before they actually toss and serve the salad. Their onion soup was really tasty as well - loved that it had melted cheese on top of it.
