Had some goodies delivered from Mom & Tina's Bakery. It's a great thing that you do not have to go out of your house in today's heat to have good food from various vendors. I enjoy using website, honestbee or food panda. Of course, my default is always website but sometimes there are restaurants not delivering to my area with website but could with others. While there is a minimum order of P500 for other delivery companies to waive the delivery fee, in website there is none even for a P100 order. That's why I stick to it whenever possible plus I love the tracking feature of website that updates you where your food actually is.I frequently visited Mom & Tina's in Pasig when we used to reside in QC. I love the homey atmosphere and the homestyle cooking they offered. Chancing upon their Legaspi Village store through the delivery app, I ordered a French Apple Tart (P175), Dark Toblerone Walnut Torte (P140), Dark Choco Chunk Brownie (P38) and a Caramel Iced Coffee Decaf (P140).For its price, the Dark Choco Chunk Brownie was pretty good. They used branded choco chunks/chips not the ones you'd find in a baking supplies store. In baking, since it is more of a science than an art like cooking, quality ingredients make a lot of difference. Of course, it does so too in cooking, but my point is baking is more exact and precise while cooking gives a greater leeway for creativity and you can catch your mistake and improvise. Make a serious mistake while baking and you might redo a batch.I also liked the Caramel Iced Coffee. A plus is that it's decaf so there will be little effect on my needed sleep.

Vegetables tastes great, not a big fan of the chicken meals but the place is classy , clean and offers sugar free cupcakes which is a big plus- ideal for coffee conversations and relax time, the chicken meals is very dry they should do something about it

Do not order the best seller aka the highly recommended dish which is the chicken relleno! Too salty for my taste. Waste of money. I ended up ordering another dish again.

Outside, the place already stands out with its Western-style cafe looks - garden table and chairs, blue shades, and huge windows that reveal an interior that is cozy and comfy just like a home. Inside, customers can choose a sofa or a table and chair to dine in. Despite the heavy lighting, the place is relaxing and warm.I tried their French Apple Tart and it was good, messy, and fun to eat. The first take on the tart is a trouble due to its hard crumbs. Pieces fell to my plate the I break the cover. Despite the difficulty it was fun. Once through, the apples have the right sweetness and complements well with the slightly salty crumbs. Their carrot cupcake is also enjoyable. The cream was not sweet, but aims to give a soft texture to compliment the carrot cupcake. The cupcake itself is a perfect balance of notes of carrot, luscious pieces of raisins, and crunchiness of walnuts.  Overall, Mom & Tina's live up to my expectations. They do not just have a unique appearance, but also good food, especially their pastries. A paradise for those with sweet tooth.

I find their menu overpriced. P27 for a mini ensaymada is too much. Though it would compensate well with the good ambiance and interiors of the place. It will still be worth trying to dine in with family and friends.

Lovely place for Sunday brunch. My husband brought us here and I’m so happy. Nice ambience with cozy sofa, feels like home.Price and food is decent though but for sure I will come back for their dessert. The Toblerone Walnut Torte is da bomb!! Chocolate cream inside it feels like heaven. Excited to come back and try other cake.

Haven’t been here in ages. Came back to meet some friends working in the area. Still has the country homey vibe, like your grandma made the desserts for you. Wish they expanded their drink selection to add matcha. Got myself the mango pie.

This is very near our office and one of our go to lunch or dinner hang-outs. I love their food, it is what I call my “comfort foods” plus their pastries and sweet desserts! A totally worth going to.
