Max's is probably my family's fave Filipino restaurant. In greenbelt, we'll there is nothing particularly special. But the tofu tastes better on their other branch so I give them a 3.5.

We came here early so that there are no to much people and to find a good seat and when we came here we are the first one to eat here because we came here so early. we order the Summer Group which consists of chopsuey, rice, a whole chicken and a dessert which is buko pandan. The staff are well accomodating and the ambiance and the menu are kinda just. So if u wanna have so family reunions Max's Restaurant is the place to be.

This is a great place to dine with your family.  Top sellers and our all time favorite Kare-kare, sinigang na hipon  and crispy pata always on our top list to order. Their merienda menu is very delicious and affordable. Coleslaw salad is great and buko pandan for a dessert for me is the best! Kudos to Glorietta branch  personnel  they are all are courteous and polite keep it up!

Our group ate lunch here. Their chicken tasted unusual, not like the usual Max's fried chicken taste that we're used to. So we asked one of the waiters to replaced our chicken. After they replaced the chicken, we tried it and it tasted just the way we like it. We asked the waiter what was the problem of the chicken they first gave us why it tasted different. He just answered, maybe because of the oil used to cook it.

The seeming simplicity of fried chicken makes it a culinary tabula rasa open to interpretation. There are the basic variances: White meat or dark? Pan-fried or deep-fried? Marinated in buttermilk, brined, both, or seasoned only with salt and pepper? More broadly, though, the dish’s universality allows it to preen in every facet of our restaurant culture—from obscure soul food joints to white tablecloth pantheons, and at time-honored cafes as well as mom-and-pops that reflect the gamut of global cuisines arriving in our region. The quest to find the best fried chicken in Manila is an addictive comfort, that proves to be the most superior poultry preparation of all time. Taking cues from our neighbours to the overseas (roasted and/or baked), Max's Restaurant is delivering the goods when it comes to serving up seasoned and crisp golden skin encasing juicy, meaty flesh. The meat is unbelievably succulent while the batter stays crunchy and surprisingly light despite the oiliness. I've grown up to Max's satisfying effect, and there is nothing more soothing than being able to (still) eat those enticing flavors from your childhood. It still tastes exactly how I tasted it 20 years ago.

Ok used to be a favorite when traveling back and forth from Australia, but things have changed. We decided to try Max again after such a long time of non visits, however sadly we were a little disappointed. We tried the menu combo's of Platter Meal consisting of Max's mouthwatering Quarter Fried Chicken, a serving of steamed Plain Rice, and a serving of Pancit Canton. Served with a drink and Max's Caramel Bar™ for dessert. The pancit was watery and chicken itself wasn't really mouthwatering as it seemed to dry inside. The upside was the staff were very friendly which helped big time with this review.

The parents were feeling a bit nostalgic so we decided to dine here after a day of window shopping (with a little bit of purchase). Mom ordered the Fiesta Plate (Max's quarter fried chicken, fresh lumpiang ubod, rice, caramel bar and iced tea), me and Dad ordered the platter Max's quarter fried chicken, pancit canton, rice/rolls, caramel bar and iced tea). The pancit canton on our order was so little, it was barely two spoonfuls of it. Bitin! If i can make a suggestion, just order the Basic meal and get a side order of Pancit Canton instead. At least you get a full serving of the pancit. Overall, the food was great, chicken parts are average in size, tasted good. The caramel bar is always a plus. Perfect way to end a meal. Service is quick, water served upon request. Senior discounts honored. Bill was 954pesos, after discount came to 750+pesos! Thank you to their wonderful staff for returning our shopping bag after we left it at the table. She came running after us when we were already out of the restaurant! Recommended.

If you want a quick snack or just something to eat. Try their fresh lumpia. The peanut sauce is really good and price is really fair and square!
