My dad chose Max's for dinner so he can eat Adobo Flakes. Haha. It looks good when it arrived and my dad seemed to have enjoyed it a lot. I got the Fiesta Platter Meal which includes a quarter chicken part, fresh lumpia, rice, caramel bar and a drink. I think their chicken is still the same, both in size and in taste. Their fresh lumpia looked small and pale on the outside. My sister and my dad shared one of Max's new items - Adobo rice. We were advised that it'll take 10-15 minutes to serve it but it took more than 20 minutes before it got to our table. The adobo rice had a generous amount of serving and a few slices of pork inside topped with egg. I think it'll be good for 2-3 people. The taste is also good! The rice is full of flavor so you can it even without any viands. We also got Tofu Con Lechon and it was just okay.

Worst service!!!! We walked in and asked for a menu but we were ignored. We had to physically get the menu ourselves! The staff weren't friendly. They need to be trained properly on customer service. Staff need to smile more. When we asked for the bill, one staff member just looked at us and walked away. It would've been understandable if the restaurant was busy but there were only a handful of customers. It took the staff literally 20minutes to print out our bill. We had to ask 2 different staff for it! Terrible dining experience!!!! Wouldn't go back here.

This review is solely for their Corner Bakery:It was my brother-in-law's birthday and we're looking for an affordable cake. We were supposed to go at another bakeshop but it was a good 10minutes walk from Greenbelt. But then I remembered that Max's has its own bakeshop. So we went there to check the cakes. Some of the cakes were even discounted. I forgot the name of the cake that we bought. It's a chocolate cake with chocolate shavings on top - we just got the one that looks the most delicious. It's also discounted - we got it at less than 500pesos for the whole cake. I also got some rolls - Mocha Roll and Chocolate roll- that we can eat on the way to the party.I tried the rolls and they were pretty okay. They actually taste better than from other bakeshops. We weren't really expecting much from the cake since we got it at a discounted price and it wasn't really their specialty (except for the caramel bars) but it was a surprise. Their cake is so moist and fudgy. We all liked it so much. Highly recommended. I'll try the other cakes next time.

Yung one teaspoon din ng icecream natikman ko good to cap the meal. All in all good experience at hindi lang dahil gutom na gutom na kami ni fat girl Merl Peroz

Their Ube Decadence was okay here, I hoped that the chunk of Ube was in the middle so as to not overpower the cream on one portion. We had a meeting here and apparently my food was cleared without permission. It’s not about having it replaced by the staff which they can’t even do anymore, or how it can be replaced since we have some extra food sets leftover but, it was all about how it would go to waste since it wasn’t finished. I don’t mind that they want to do their job fast to clear out a certain space, it’s a given but, what’s important is their respect towards someone who just came in and would like to still finish their food. It was actually chicken and I’m the type to finish it to the bone. So next time, before clearing out please do have the courtesy to ask first before you do. For our set meal, we had the Chopsuey which I think could be better than the Pancit I had yesterday in Max’s Glorietta.

Our filipino restau favorite. Tried this branch but nothing compared to the QC branch.Service is terrible and ambiance is typical. Luckily Max's food is really spot on to our tastebuds.

The branch is spacious and has its own VIP room as well for meetings and private events. Servers were well-groomed and accommodating. We got to try Max's House Classic Deluxe Bundle for 4 which includes Pork Sinigang, 1 Whole Fried Chicken, Tofu Sisig, Buko Pandan, and it comes with iced tea as well. You know how good is Max's Chicken because you don't have to use any sauce/dip to pair it with (though eating it with that makes it better). The Pork Sinigang is just perfect for the rainy season!! A sip on that hot sour soup is just refreshing! The Tofu Sisig has that spicy kick that you'll love to munch more even if it's spicy. We also tried the Malagos Brownies and Caramel Bars. I personally like the Caramel Bars more but both have a firm texture and have a subtle sweetness which is a good thing.Price range is on the average side. The said bundle might not be enough for a group of 4 with a heavy eater.

In the late 90's, Max's Greenbelt had their own building complex at the park, near the church but with the construction of Greenbelt 4 and 5, the Max's Building had to go down. They had to relocate as part of the mall. They offer sets for functions and small parties. Always a must is their fried chicken! The fresh lumpia is also good, with extra helpings of garlic peanut sauce. Service was quick, friendly and had good knowledge about their menu. Manager on duty was also hands on in operations. Good job. Recommended.
