Visited this place recently as it is open later than many other restaurants in this strip of Greenbelt. The food is good and priced ok for the location but not the ambiance. We were a party of 2 in an empty restaurant besides one party of about 15 in the restaurant. The staff seemed to fornicate over this group of westerners and Filipinos looking for a meaty tip while we could barely get their attention. Filipino service is poor anyway but this was a joke and put me off going back. Combine the service with the awful decoration and cheesy menu names and it feels like it should be a tacky family place yet seems to be aiming with it's dishes for a more higher end diner. The place is confused and needs a menu and theme that match.

We went to greenbelt 3 to celebrate the birthday of a family member. We had a reservation for 14 at TGIF's but were disappointed when they were squeezing 14 of us in a table fit for 10. So me and another went looking around. Marciano's at the 2nd floor struck us coz at dinnertime it was quite empty. Browsing through their menu posted outside, there was a good variety and the prices quite reasonable. So we went up to Friday's and brought the whole gang of 14 down to Marciano's. The atmosphere and ambiance of the place exudes elegance. The place looks expensive because of the 1930-40's theme decor, like straight out of a NYC mafioso restobar. They have chandeliers too. Maybe because of the ambiance it scares potential customers away. Now on the food. The pumpkin soup does not taste of pumpkin. I can taste the cinnamon or was it tumeric that was overpowering the vegetable. The bacon-asparagus soup looked good however I wasn't able to taste it so no further comment. The country style chicken was a little on the salty side. An order of Fish and Chips looked small, definitely not for sharing. The spaghetti noodles on the sausage pesto was soggy. The meat lasagna tasted bland. The full rack baby back ribs did not look full to us and it tasted ordinary. It must have been malnourished that I regretted ordering it for the price. But wait, there were other dishes that saved the night though. The Caesar salad and the Marciano's signature salad were a hit. The Pizza Margherita and the Formiggiano were huge, had a crunchy thin crust and tasted just right. At other places we would usually request for more tomato sauce or cheezes but not this time. The Hudson prawns with garlic and olive oil was good too. There was no toasted garlic left, even the oil was wiped clean off the plate. The fruit shakes are a good buy. For the same price as other restos, at Marciano's they come in glasses that reminds you of starbucks venti cups. Our experience at Marciano's was a hit and miss. Would I come back? Yes I would. There were many dishes that we haven't tried yet. But I would know what to order and what not to order next time around. And lastly, the place was full when we left.

What sets Marciano’s Pizza Pasta and Steak apart from other restaurants is that the places itself exudes a fine dining vibe without the burden of burning a hole on your wallet. I brought my mom there for mother’s day and God knows how happy she was with all the food that we ordered. My mom loves their Time Square Fish and Chips (P278). The fish is seasoned and deep fried to perfection and the handcut potatoes seemed guilt-free for it’s not dripping with oil unlike those found in other restaurants. The Madison Avenue Puttanesca (P278) is my favorite for it has my favorite toppings: anchovies, capers and black and green olives. The solo serving is quite bitin but as they say, this is what will make you come back to the restaurant.Read the rest of the review here : http://theyoungfoodie.tumblr.com/post/88431652710/marcianos-pizza-pasta-and-steak#.U7Cl-vldWXEhttp://theyoungfoodie.tumblr.com/

Got their version of Surf 'n Turf (tenderloin + prawns) with a side of potato gratin. Ordered medium rare which was properly done, though my steak could've used a little more rub on the salt and pepper, imo. The red wine reduction gravy sauce was good though, and the gratin was nice and cheesy.Together with an order of watermelon shake, my grand total came to roughly 800 php. Considering the interiors are nice, service is good, and the portions are decent, you get good value for your money here. I'd definitely come back :)

went to try this place on friday night due to boyfriend's friend recommendation.since boyfriend hungry and i insisted him to get something healthier, he ended up ordering grilled salmon in caper sauce with garlic rice as the side dish, while i ordered wallstreet mushroom soup and spinach artichokes in mushroom dip.the salmon was perfectly grilled with a tangy bits sauce, it's just right to pair with the fish. while the mushroom soup was tasty and nicely presented like an artistic cappucino. the spinach artichokes in mushroom deep also made a good appetizer, love the mozzarella cheese on top of the dip.while the food all goods and the restaurant ambiances are nice, the servers needed a bit of a smile though cause i felt a bit intimidated just by the way she ask what food i would like to order and when she repeated my order, or when i ask for a glass of water. man, i sure hope i didn't made any mistake in pronouncing the food name or bother her for another glass of water.anyway,it's a good dinner overall.
