We ordered seaweed, beef cold cuts, mapo tofu, mao jia spicy duck, braised pork leg, and yang chow fried rice. Aside from the yang chow fried rice, everything was VERY SALTY! It’s like you are eating a dish made of pure salt. Also, the duck, beef cold cuts and pork leg all taste the same. Would not come back to this place again.

This Hunan Restaurant Served food with all the spicy trinkets and it serves their food well. Makes it a little challenging and fun to eat. Very flavorful and the servings are for 2-3 persons. I thought their noodles were only good for one person but it came and it looked really good to share. 🌶

If you want really authentic Sichuan Chinese food, then this is the place that you must try! We tried their spicy boiled beef, kung pao chicken, and their yang chao fried rice.  The yang chao fried  rice is a must  order which is one of the yan chao's that fits my palate.  Although make sure you can handle the other viands as it's loaded with lots of chilli and all the flavors that would make you ask for more water.

If you love spicy Chinese food, then this is the place to go! A place not easily seen or passed through, it is a wonder how this small place could be full on a weekday night. This stands as a testament on just how good the food is in this place. Almost all their dishes are full of fried chilli, heating up the already tasty dishes. My favorite would be their rice(all their fried rice dishes), very different from the expected rice I would normally have in normal Chinese restaurants. The only problem with the place is that it is too small. Come in late and you will be waiting outside. Best make reservations as the place really fills up quickly. That's why I made one already.

My significant other suggested we try this place out for my birthday. He had dined here before and he raved about the food. He's Chinese, so when he says the food is good (at a specific Chinese restaurant), he is not kidding. Dumplings - Methinks it's vegetable and pork. Serving size is for about 2-3 persons. Really good dipping sauce. I can snack on this the whole day. 😄Yang Chow Fried Rice - delicious as well. Had little minced cucumbers in it that added a bit of crunch and sweetness to the dish. Spicy Fried Chicken - Crunchy, tasty, and spicy! Steamed Polonchay - I love this. Simple polonchay steamed with garlic and sesame oil. I can eat the whole plate. 😅Beef Noodles - I thought this might be like Beef Hofan, but it has less sauce and a tad bit greasy. Still flavorful, though. Our tongues were pleasantly still stinging after eating because of the myriad of spices in the dishes, but it's not spicy as one would think. The Hunan cuisine they offer is probably the most authentic I've had so far. Will definitely visit again. 😄
