Manam express is the more affordable version of Manam, located in food plazas. They offer meals for Php 149 with a choice of viand, vegetable side dish and rice witg 6 different types of rice to choose from. I had difficulty choosing as I'm a big fan of flavored rice. Bagoong rice, Tinapa rice, and the classic garlic rice caught my attention, but still ended up with Bagoong. On the otherhand my friend opted for the Tinola rice. They also had plain rice, and one with herbs, I could not recall. This also comes with a free soup which tasted like beef broth and iced tea. Though the quality wasn't like that of the restaurant. The bagoong rice didn't have that distinct taste and seemed like low end rice, I picked the fried milkfish as my viand which was ok, and kare kare vegetable as my side dish which was also ok. For 149 pesos it's not bad, food court quality. I wouldn't say value for money though, it was just so-so. Ok lang. 😊* Update July 21, 2017 at around 530pm - 630pm.I wanted to try their sizzling offerings so I went behind the cash register after a man who just finished his transaction. While I was about to say my order, the staff told me to "line up". She had this very rude and commanding tone, not even a smile nor an apologetic facial expression. I said, I'm sorry? Thinking I was next in line. She said "line up, that man is in line" and pointed to a man wearing a jacket. There he was on the phone and undecided. He was checking out the glass case with the rice and sides while talking to someone. Then he hung up. That really pissed me off. That man wasn't decided yet and I was. I only needed to make that transaction for a minute but I had to wait for the guest who was not decided and was talking on the phone. The female staff who manned the register felt like she owned the place. Why was the man at the side prioritized? He was still staring at their glass case and was on the phone while I on the otherhand was right behind a man who just payed. I walked out right away. Really poor customer service. They need to teach their staff some manners.

At a price of less than Php 180, I got to enjoy a good serving of classic Pinoy food with tinapa rice. This was conveniently located in the food court with fast service and wide range of affordable dishes. Thumbs up!

My family ordered the ever so famous House Crispy Sisig. Honest report, the House Sisig in other branches are better than the House Sisig here in Manam Express. If you're craving for their crispy sisig, I'd recommend you to find other branches like in Glorietta 4 near Mann Hann because they prepare the sisig differently and the sisig there is way better than the sisig here in Manam Express.

Assuming from the name, Manam Express, this is an offshoot of the famous restaurant Manam I found in Bonifacio Global City.  They tweaked somehow the process to suit the fast food scene but hey, as long as its yummy, then that's a good thing. This Manam Express is located in the food court of Glorietta 4 Mall in Makati City.  Amidst other food kiosks, this one is along the walk way connecting the two food courts there.  They have a big sign and you won't miss them.

Our aunt recommended Manam Express to us in that they offer quite a lot of good meals at a fairly affordable price. We went to Glorietta 4 food court on the third floor and there, you’ll find Manam Express. You can see the meals they offer immediately. The prices are mostly, if not all, P149 for a viand plus iced tea and soup.

The price and the taste = all great. Service was also very quick, even if they kinda forgot my order (which I understood because there were so many customers frequenting the small stall). Ordered the overloaded garlic bangus belly and it tasted good, only issue was that the garlic was too hard to chew; maybe that's because they just add it on top once the fish is cooked and it isn't as fresh. Nevertheless, I'll definitely go back or perhaps try other branches.

Love the concept of DIY kanin-ulam-gulay plus free soup and iced tea for only P149. I have been to the main Manam branch though and this is nothing like it. Totally disappointing. If you want to experience the real Manam, head to The Fort branch.

I like Manam (the restaurant) so upon seeing Manam Express at Glorietta Food Choices I was a bit thrilled. 149pesos for a complete meal? Why not. Tried the Bangus, Pancit Canton and Tinapa Rice, it also came with a cup of soup and a small glass of iced tea. The Pancit Canton was sadly dried up, typical of fastfood joints. It was salty and not really at par of the Manam I know. The bangus faired better. It was moist and served with lots of crispy garlic bits. Tinapa Rice was hardly flavorful. Soup was served extremely hot and salty. Overall, the other viands might taste better. Service was friendly and fast, i'll give them that.

Updated:Sinigang na Beef Short Rib & Watermelon was finally brought here. It was pretty good but the presentation was questionable. The sides of the bowl give me the impression it was microwaved. I think they made the price more affordable by changing their meat to something different from their restaurants. Fortunately, it's delicious!(changed to 4.0 on December 2017)-The Paksiw na Lechon Kawali had delicious sauce, skin was slightly crunchy, and meat was soft. I didn't like seeing too much fat, though some was really expected. Tinola Rice was fine but it made me crave actual tinola soup. The Pancit wasn't so great because it look, felt, and tasted old. The free soup was okay; I can't complain much about that because it's free. Very thin strips of veggies were afloat.(originally a 3.0 rating from April 2017)

I've already eaten at their Trinoma branch a few times before and it was my first time to try it here. I really liked their concept of choosing your kanin, ulam and gulay and it comes with iced tea and soup. All for 149php. Except for the ulam, I always choose Tinapa Rice and Gising Gising. Tried the Lechon Paksiw and it's good. At least the meat that I got was not full of fatty parts. I recommend this place for complete and affordable meals.
